D-Link Antenna Extension Cables provide more distance between a wireless device and the device's antenna to optimize wireless LAN deployments. Most routers and access points on the market today are equipped with a detachable standard antenna that can perform up to a certain distance or area. To accommodate integrators seeking to upgrade their default antenna to a higher gain antenna without risking signal loss, D-Link offers antenna cables to help meet installation requirements. This enables wireless devices to be placed in a more ideal area to avoid environmental degradation, while the antenna itself can be placed away from a device and mounted in an open area for optimal wireless signal transmission and reception. In turn, networks will experience less signal loss and increased network performance.
