Advanced Security
The Imation Defender Printable Surface CD-R, DVD-R and Blu-Ray BD-R Optical Media is a new line of highly secure white inkjet printable optical media products that meet Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 1 validation. AES 256-bit encryption software operates directly from the disc making data encryption easy and eliminating the need to install, maintain or use third party burning and encryption software. Defender Optical Media also includes a password recovery service helping ensure authorized users can securely recover login credentials.

Integrated encryption and burning applications are manufactured directly on to each disc ensuring content complies with government standards (FIPS 140-2 Level 1 Validated, NIST SP 800-57 compliant).


AES 256-bit Software Encryption
A simple one-step process protects data with AES 256-bit encryption. The encryption operates directly from the disc eliminating the need to install, maintain or use third party burning and encryption software.

Integrated Password Recovery
Password recovery helps ensure authorized users can securely recover login credentials.

Customizable White Inkjet Surface
The print surface of Imation Printable Optical Media extends all the way to the hub, offering greater design possibilities.
