Used with a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a second gen Google Nexus 7" tablet. Devices that have worked: SSD's with a sata to usb adapter, thumb drives, external USB(spinning) drives. Only thing I haven't tried or have needed to use is an external kb. This dongle also helps me from losing a 1/2" long super small 8Gb thumb drive. :)
