CA ARCserve Backup Agent for Microsoft SQL provides efficient backup and restore of SQL Server 2005 databases, while they're in use, by enabling CA ARCserve Backup to send and retrieve data to and from the SQL Server.

This agent ensures complete data and transactional integrity by performing consistency checks on all physical and logical links before and after each backup and restore operation.

It remotely manages backups of SQL Server databases and performs online database backups using the SQL Server dynamic dump utility. CA ARCserve ARCserve Backup Agent for Microsoft SQL provides flexible scheduling capabilities and is compatible with a wide range of tape storage devices.
