Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible printer; leaky ink tank. I replaced the PGBK ink tank in my 2-month old Canon printer with this one. For background, the printer itself has been nothing but trouble since I got it and calls to the Canon support team have not permanently fixed the problems of paper jams and misprints (although the support techs themselves were excellent. I have had four very good Canon printers in the past, so I know how to install an ink tank and the feedback screen indicated that I had done so correctly. Immediately, however, the paper began jamming again, over and over again, and wet black ink appeared on the jammed sheets and all over my hands. The tank appeared to be leaking. The last jammed sheet came out along with a piece of foam that was part of the interior mechanism. I give up: I am throwing the printer, new ink tank and all, into the recycling bin.

Love the Canon Printer TR 712 also so far it has been working great. Your Customer Service Dept. is great they were very helpful with the selection and the set up of the printer when it arrived.

However, I would like to buy larger cartridges so as not to buy them so often. Unfortunately the larger cartridges all contain less ink per dollar and are therefore more expensive to buy, the opposite of what one would expect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink cartridge I tried to answer your survey before and it wouldn’t let me type in an answer using the space bar. So I had to type it up in Word and paste (extra effort. I’m disappointed in the packaging of the cartridges, especially in the stores, when you can even find them. My previous printer used 240 and 241 and I could always find them. The grouping of them (the 280 and 281) isn’t good. They either need to be each color individually or have all 5 cartridges in a package.
