Q: What is preloaded operating system?
A: Operating system shipped on the HD of the unit from the vendor. Usually Windows XP or Vista Business either French or English prepackaged with all the required drivers and utilities for the current system configuration.
Q: What if a different operating system is required then the one that exists on the system HD.
A: System manufacture recovery CD’s/DVD’s can be requested from the vendor. This media as well is prepackaged with all the necessary drivers and utilities to support all installed options. This is especially important for laptops as these come with many options not supported with shrink wrap operating system package (i.e. Fingerprint readers, cameras, wireless options)
