We've tried several "generic" refilled brands, but they either don't work at all or only last half as long as the originals. Not wasting anymore money on them.

It will not load paper into the printer and sit there a slams the feeder back and forth then says there is a paper jam but there is no paper jam as it will not feed the paper into the printer to start with.

I may print 10 pages a month in monochrome in draft mode and yet I am burning thru black ink cartridges. Very annoying. I spend more in a year on cartridges than I did on the printer. And every time microsoft updates my computer I lose the printer driver and have to go through a big process to get it back so I can print.

Replaced it with the new one and found it to work well with stock paper and also double sided glossy paper for pictures and making greeting cards. Dry time with stock paper is seconds and with glossy paper under 1 minute. Clean sharp image on each surface.

The software let me know when the ink was low and directed me to the canon site to purchase this ink. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE with the printer. So I wasted my money. Canon will not take it back because it was opened (of course. Canon does NOT SELL ink that's compatible with this printer I purchased. I have to purchase ink from a different company. At least now I know not to pay attention to what the software (that came with the printer) tells me I should order to replace my ink.

Heaven Forbid! An opened box! It must be the end of the world. Remove my email address from your mailing list. $28 down the drain. A re-packaging fee would have been more amicable.

I used to buy cheap Ebay inks and they really clog up and destroy my all in one printers so now I only buy the real ink from Canon. This is my cheapest all in one printer in decades and it is stll printing picture perfect after 3 years and I use it all of the time! The ink is the only reason its still ticking strong. All of the expensive Canon printers I had died of cheap ink. I swear its true!
