Makes my iMac Fly
Although I am new to Apple, I am a long-time PC Tech support rep. 4 x 32Mb modules is the max my late 2013 27" iMac can do. These went in easy, were instantly recognized at their full specs at power-up. The machine now runs VM-Ware with ease and Windows 7 VM runs as fast as on my work computers. Ripping CD's runs fast, and graphics intensive program/games runs smoothly.

I used this memory to upgrade my MacBook Pro ( mid 2012 model). With this 16 GB memory installed, the application ( photo editing) will not slow down, and I can open up multiple apps at the same time. Apply recommended 8 GB as maximum memory, I installed 16 GB, and the system recognized the 16 GB memory. So, trust cruial, the MacBook Pro can handle 16 GB.

Ram was easier to install than I thought on my Macbook pro mid 2012 13 inch. Booted right up. I've completed a few video projects since then with no problems. The laptop seems to be able to handle more of my extensive video editing than before with out hanging up on play back.

This RAM is amazing. I no longer have problems with loading applications or running multiple tasks at one time. I wasn't sure if I should get the 16gb or save money and get the 8gb, but I am so glad I went with the 16gb. Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Recommend 100% for anyone.

Cheaper alternative to buying a new laptop
My laptop was very slow before upgrading my RAM. I purchased 16 GB of RAM but due to an issue with my laptop, I could only install 8 GB. Nevertheless, my laptop is sooooo much faster and doesn't freeze as often. This product is great and is reasonably priced too.

32 GB will make any iMac super zippy.
I would highly suggest if you are going to max out you iMac to swap all the ram and not just add to pre-existing RAM. Installation took 1 minute in total. Video and audio editing takes much less time and intense programs run much smoother. What are you waiting for, max out your rig and experience the difference for yourself.

Not very happy with my purchase
Several dozen attempts, procedures and well over on hour with Tech Support could not get all 4 of the memory sticks to operate in conjunction. Was left with only the ability to use 2 of the memory sticks which were barely able to improve performance beyond the memory chips that cam with my unit. Switching slots and various combinations only resulted in the ability to use just two of the addition memory regardless of the position of the slots.

Got product because I usually have MANY windows open. Safari performance now great. Somewhat difficult to install in 27 inch iMac because of slot location and my large hands, NOT Crucial Great results to date

What a difference in my wife's MacPro 2012. Yes it can run 16gig. My wife is a school teacher and gets frustrated when things don run smooth. Her machine was running slow and hot now it runs fast and a lot cooler. It's nice to put memory in and have it reliable.

Best prices on the net for memory upgrades. Product shipped in no time. Memory cards were a bit tricky to install, make sure you know what you are doing or hire a pro, you could do a lot of damage not knowing how to install the cards.

Our Mac Mini has always been sluggish. I ran Mac OS X Server on it, and that was slow. I have a users always logged in with iTunes open to share with our Apple TV and also let the kids login with their own account for school work. It was always slow for every thing. We were running an "upgraded" 4 GB of RAM. After the upgrade to 16 GB with two of these 8 GB sticks, the computer still runs all the same stuff, but is super snappy and responsive. One of the best purchases I've made.

This memory was fully compatible with my 27" 2013 iMac!!! Works great!! After researching this memory, it showed to be fast, as fast as any other memory or faster. Did a mem check on the iMac and it showed to be fully functional. I bought 2 8gb sticks because apple said they should be in pairs of 2.

First set bad, but promptly replaced with quality chips
Bought two of these 8GB chip upgrades for my iMac couple of years ago and they were perfect. Bought two more and although the computer recognized the increase in memory to 32GB no program would run. Everything "beach balled". Immediately contacted Crucial and they provided a return and a replacement. Replacement is perfect.

I upgraded my RAM to run a virtual PC desktop for GIS applications. The upgrade allowed me to allocate a lot more RAM to the machine. It's hard to tell with ArcGIS--it always runs slow. I had reservations because Apple only rates my computer up to 8GB RAM--these 16 work great, and Crucial brought me to the proper hardware

Late 2013 iMac Memory Upgrade was a cinch
Memory chips and instructions were straight forward, simple to follow. The hardest part was getting the door of the iMac to open :o) Once installed, the additional memory was automatically / instantly recognized - No problems at all. This is memory upgrade has been running solid for one month. I did a Crucial-brand memory upgrade on an older iMac, it's still running fine after 4 years.

I purchased two 8 GB RAM upgrades (total 16 GB upgrade) and it was super easy to install. Several YouTube videos out there showing you exactly what to do. Remove 10 screws, pop out the two old boards, pop in the two new boards, reinsert the 10 screws. Done. The longest part was removing and reinserting the screws. Great, simple upgrade with a very noticeable improvement in performance.

Not much to say other than the fact that they simply work! Some Macs can be very finicky with certain memories and manufacturers, and choosing the correct memories using the online tool makes it easy to choose the correct configuration compatible for my system. Bought two 8 Gb to add to existing 8 Gb in new iMac 27" with retina display. Installation was easy. RAM arrived a day before the computer so it was installed before the computer was fired up for the first time. No problems on booting. About This Macintosh showed 24 Gb of RAM. It allows me to run Adobe Premiere CC and After Effects CC without going out to lunch while it renders as with my previous (2009) iMac.

My ram was lost in the mail and after several days, on a Friday, I contacted customer service. They scheduled a new package to be sent out on the next Monday. Of course, it was delivered in Saturday's mail, a week + after its expected arrival. I dashed out a message to stop the new shipment, but figured they wouldn t see it until Monday, but I got a speedy reply that they were happy the original finally got there and cancelled the new one. This was at the height of the Christmas rush. Great Company to deal with. I highly reccomend and they were reccomended to me by the guy at the Apple Genius Bar. Thst says something.

I regularly run Adobe Lightroom and Logic Pro X on this iMac (3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 27-inch, Mid 2014) and prefer to have the RAM maxed out to support the added real time data streaming processes. This iMac is a reasonably fast machine so the upgrade did not yield any noticeable speed improvements.

32 GBs RAM;late 2013 imac 27
I ended up putting 32 gb's of ram into my late 2013 imac (27" 3.2 processor) 2 16 gb packages (2 x 8's) so, 4 sticks of 8 in all, and it great! ! No problems, On-line i've seen a lot of people have had problems, and originally I had problems with a 16 GB package upgrade (2 x 8's) from another (very reputable) company, (the computer kept dying) so I was worried... but with Crucial, not only was there NO problem (at all!) but it it was significantly cheaper. So, if you want to up-grade your ram (on this computer at least) , I totally recommend. It's great! (or, it was for me) Also, on-line many say it's a waste of money, and maybe it is, I don't know....but, it seems great: now this computer is kind of top of the charts on the (free 32 bit) geekbench 3 test... it varies a little, day to day, but as high as 3393 single core, and 10613 the multi core... not the highest score, but pretty near for a 3.2 processor). My quip is that I'm now driving a Ferrari on the information-highway. Honestly, maybe it is a waste of money for most users, i don't know...myself included... but i got a good deal on this computer, and decided, "why not!".

I didn't know that my MBP could use 16GB, it says it maxes out at 8GB but it is using all 16GB that I installed (2x8). I do a little work in video editing and even play some games (Civilization), so it helped increase the speed in those programs a lot. I also am able to keep more programs running without slowdown. I'm not sure if it was the update to Yosemite or the newly installed RAM (I did both around the same time) but it takes my computer a bit of time to wake from sleep now. Specifically, my keyboard and trackpad will take ~minute to respond.

Upgraded my late model 2012 mac mini from 4gb to 16gb along with adding a SSD replacement. It now works as it should when I bought it brand new, with the limited memory and slow hard drive it would only take a few tabs or a couple of open programs to sit and watch the color wheel spin. Very much worth the upgrade and with 16gb should be plenty that it won't max out and slow to a crawl.

MacBook memory
Upgraded RAM on a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. Went with 16 Gb instead of the 8. Worked great. Installed easily. Laptop much Faster now.

Works great in my late-2012 Macbook Pro
Going from 4 to 16 GB of RAM on my late-2012 13" Macbook Pro has been really helpful for my everyday productivity. Now I can have Adobe Illustrator and Word and Chrome all running at the same time without a loss of speed/response time. The RAM was relatively easy to install, although I did have to locate a very tiny screwdriver, and definitely worth the cost.

I use my Mac for heavy photo editing and light video editing. With the new increased RAM I will start some more serious video editing.

Doubled the DDR3 memory in MacBookPro (mid-2102) to 16GB. Noticed improved performance right away. Easily run multiple DTP apps including Adobe CS6/CC apps without low-memory concerns. Upgraded my Mac Mini to 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. It runs like lightening. My streaming capability dramatically increased. I no longer have lags while streaming, even when 4 computers are in use. So very glad I bought this product!

SOMETHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU UPGRADE 27INCH I-MAC
It is possible to add up to 32 megs to a 27 inch IMAC. What I was not told is that you can not leave the computer unbalanced . That means that all 4 available slots must be equal . You can have 2 4 meg or 4 4 meager 2 8meg or 4 8 meg but you can not mix the memory sticks. I ended with 32 megs.

Installed easily and increased speed
Easy to install on my mid 2011 Mac Mini (replaced my 4gb memory with this 16gb). Wanted to have the larger memory installed just before upgrading from Lion to El Capitan. Haven't really "challenged" it for speed yet since the OS upgrade but my Mac Mini is working great. Seems to have provided more speed when working with photos.

Instantly made El Capitan work like it was supposed to.
I fully expected the extra memory to help with larger files and more applications open at the same time. I also found that the issue with hanging that we had encountered with the El Capitan update had gone away. Easy to install and worth the extra cost.

Top Notch Customer Service
I was a bit worried that my motherboard wouldn't recognize the RAM on my 13" Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. However, being at desperate measures, I ordered the upgrade that was recommended. At first, the online ordering had a bit of a hiccup, and I had to call into Customer Service. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went through correctly! I received the RAM the next day (I paid for expedited shipping) and, in as little as 5 minutes, I got the memory installed, and it has worked like MAGIC!! I will most definitely be returning as a customer in the future!

Great Memory
After installing the memory I saw an immediate increase in speed after loading lots of apps. Switching between apps is faster. App load time is the same, but I think that is limited by the CPU and bus speed.
