Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement laptop battery Genuine Dell battery, an exact fit for my laptop. It works great. I am disappointed that Dell has apparently put technology in the battery and in the laptop where only their batteries will work. If you try to buy the exact same battery from someplace else, it won’t work. And buying it from Dell cost about three times as much. That’s a shameful monopoly, and that’s why you only got four stars.

Reviews on batteries from other suppliers were not good so I opted for an original equipment item from Dell. The transaction was smooth and delivery was prompt. I would have liked for Dell to provide information on recycling thd old battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent battery for Latitude E6440 The battery arrived promptly and fits my Latitude E6440. I've been using it for a couple of weeks. It charges quickly and the charge lasts several hours (4 or 5 hours of continuous use.It is a larger battery and slightly heavier than the original, but I am completely satisfied with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement for my Latitude E6540 I decided to get this battery since I got my Latitude as a refurbished unit and the battery that shipped with it is showing that it's almost 7 years old by not holding a charge as well as it should. The new battery is interestingly more mAhs than the old one although they look the same - must've been a slight model revision in the last 7 years. :) Make sure to follow the charging instructions - fully charging it before using. After many years of owning laptops and multiple batteries I've learned it pays to treat the battery well and it will serve the laptop a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery, but unexpectedly failed. This battery was amazing while it worked. The cells within are exceptionally high quality Samsung 3000mAh units. When the battery failed, I had gone to my morning lecture where it worked perfectly. However, when I put the computer to sleep and moved rooms, that was the last of it - the battery completely ceased operation. The laptop (Latitude E6440) wasn't able to use it at all, despite being about 85% charged. I am disappointed that this battery failed so randomly, after several months of excellent performance. This battery showed no signs of degradation, and still held a charge perfectly. The price is steep, but much like toner OEM is almost always more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service and quick delivery! I was using my laptop and the battery totally died. When I plugged it in to recharge it the battery never got above 78%. In working with Dell's team they determined that the battery was 1) out of warranty and 2) not able to be fixed. Based on that, I purchased this one and it's been perfect!
