Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not great we are a small office & purchased this machine to replace our previous Fellowes shredder because the cutting blades had become clogged and we were advised it was not worth repairing. We received our new shredder quickly, it was well packaged. We set it up and straight away the 'safesense' facility was too sensitive - the paper slightly bunches / concertinas as it is fed through so the misshapen paper sets off the safesense alert constantly. We use 90gsm paper so expected to be able to shred less than 12x sheets at a time, but the shredder stops with any more than 6x sheets. We reported the issue and a new shredder was sent to us quickly, however Fellowes said to 'discard' the original shredder - such a waste. The 2nd shredder is slightly improved, not as sensitive but paper still bunches and cannot feed more than 6x sheets of 90gsm paper. We use a bin bag in the pull out bin however the bag catches as it is removed leaving holes in the bag and shredded paper tumbling out also there is always a pool of shredded paper at the bottom of the pull out bin. In my opinion, not value for money
