Battery lasts about 5 to 6 hours instead of the 9 to 12 hours the computer (ThinkPad T470p) promised. Since it was on sale, I bought two and will switch them out as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery for road warriors This battery has all the functions required from a battery, particularly a compact size, built in base with rubber feet so that it can prop up on an economy class tray-table, and more than 6 hours of run time on my T440s so that I can work in economy class discomfort for even more time. This means I can work while remaining compliant with my company's travel policy of saving $50 while sending me via Omaha on my shorthall domestic trip to LA and I don't care that absolutely none of the power outlets on United work. I mean, what were they doing with all those billions during Covid? Certainly not fixing the power outlets! So get a good battery, and relax!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long battery life, limited life expectancy I purchased this as a replacement for the battery I had that was about 4 years old. The new battery is awesome, super long life between charges even when using speakers and running multiple memory-heavy programs. The old battery was down to about ~1/2 an hour's use before needing to be recharged. So, I'm giving 4 stars here rather than 5 because that's how many years the battery lasted for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from disappointed in the reputation Reviews of Lenovo show that the battery lasts up to 17 hours. I bought a replacement because my new battery lasted about an hour. The replacement indicates 3 hours when full and unplugged. The laptop runs hot when plugged in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extends the life of my laptop significantly I've only had this battery for a few weeks, but as a grad student I enjoy being able to use my laptop all day without a charge (a full charge lasts about 10-12 hours of studying/typing/reading/browsing on low- to mid-level brightness for my T450S). The bump out takes some getting used to and the weight of the increased size isn't too significant considering the lifespan of a single charge. Delivery took a bit longer than expected, but if this charge continues to hold, definitely worth the wait!

Seems like it if it is idle for while, it holds charge best at 50-60%. Thickness bump is more than expected, but extra life worth it.
