Rated 5 out of 5 by from 90W PRO DOCK Love this docking station. I travel a lot and have to leave my laptop on construction sites a lot to look around and find this very easy to use and it is more of a challenge for someone to walk off with both

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too hard to install dual monitors It wasn't till I came to this site that I realized why I couldn't get two monitors hooked up--- for some reason, it has to be two displayports, not a displayport and a DVI. I don't know if the Ultra HDMI port I have has hte same problem--- I spent a long time shifting cables in various combinations. Also, at first the power cable wouldn't charge the laptop, for reasons seemingly unconnected with tightening cable joins. It is surprisingly difficult to get the laptop seated--why isn't this a trivial task? ---tho I will get used to the precise lining up necessary with a little experience. It's nice and compact, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connecting a second monitor to the Lenovo ThinkPad Good afternoon, The instructions that I received with my new Lenovo ThinkPad Pro Dock are very poor and don't specify how to connect a second monitor. What port do I use to connect the second monitor? I have the main monitor connected to the VGA Port. Should I connect the second monitor to the DVI-D port? (I already have the 'VGA 15 pin female to DVI-D male adapter). What process do I follow? Please help, thx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the most practical choice I occasionally get a blue screen with this docking station when connecting the laptop back (T460. 3.5mm headphone connector is not the best quality. Might loose connection and start using laptop speakers if you move the headphone wire. Overall it works fine until you need to take the laptop somewhere. Has plenty of USB ports and a connection for external monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not use it with Display port external monitor This so called "Pro" dock does not compatible with Samsung S32D850T monitor. When connected via DP cable dock does not wake up monitor, when Thinkpad X250 resumed. When S32D850T set to DP 1.2 mode, dock produce screen flickering and distortion. I did not has any these problem with direct cable mDP->DP from X250 to external monitor. Firmware in dock are up to date. I did test two dock stations (both Pro version).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clunky and unreliable Used several months with a P50s running Win10. The physical docking mechanism does not line up very well, and is often difficult to get the laptop fully seated without jiggling it around. The monitor loses signal periodically and must be power cycled. In comparison, the dock for my T520 drops in solidly every time, and I never have monitor issues (using the same monitor). Feature set is good (ports/connections).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Antiquated technology...no HDMI! This Lenovo - ThinkPad Pro Dock - 90W should be removed from Lenovo's inventory! This dock does not have an receptor for HDMI...which is not by any means "new technology." I highly recommend that Lenovo remove the item from the inventory or put a warning note indicating there is no HDMI port in the docking station. Do not purchase unless you are sure you can live with out the HDMI port in your docking station.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works good, but blocks cooling ... Using it with my X260, but can't run 2 displays at once as it causes computer to run too hot and shut off.... No where for air to go with docking release button in the way !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine. I have 954 of these in use in a business environment. Out of those, two were replaced under the factory warranty. It would be nice if it had dual display ports, but that's easy to work around. No complaints otherwise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fragile and expensive Takes time to learn how to fit the laptop on the docking station. Moving parts look like they are going to break. At almost $200, I believe it is a little too expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Docking Station overall This is solid docking station, with enough ports and features and flexibility to accept the most used Thinkpads on en Enterprise environtment. The one complain i have is the same of the previus gen of docking stations. If your users are like mine they dont "care" if they log out or not before un docking their lap tops and running to their meetings, so some times the docking stations do not respond when they dockm their lap tops back, they need to re boot, and sometimes power cycle the docking station., other than that they are great, you can plug in multiple monitors and USB powered devices seemlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchase for company Our company has over 100 of these docking stations and they are a hit or miss. Haven't had to return any units, or warranty them, they just have small quirks. 1. When docking the laptop, the rubber pads/docking points sometimes will stick and make it difficult to push down on the docking. you would have to try again unit it fit snug. 2. after a few months, the leveler/docking pegs would stay stuck and would require a cleaning. Air cleaning or a quick wipe around the pegs will fix this. 3.the pegs that help support the laptop once on the dock would require more location of support for the dock. In certain areas of the docking station, when you apply downward pressure you can feel the laptop not be properly balanced by the dock, so you would either apply less pressure or don't use the laptop keyboard. 4. The output ports are not next to each other in the array, so cable management can be troublesome. 5. wish it had a smaller width.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is very reliable I like the product, it's very reliable. One thing I didn't quite like is that, it sometimes takes a bit longer for me to dock my laptop. It would be nice to improve docking ease. For example, some sort of guide rails or something, that would easily set a laptop to the terminals without me needing to look for them and also try to aim at them correctly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No dual DVI+DisplayPort - overpriced Got this for use with a T440. Did not see any mention in the specs that you cannot use the DVI and DisplayPort at the same time. To use multiple displays with this dock you would need to use the VGA+DVI or VGA+DisplayPort. Pretty bad user experience. To use dual digital video you must purchased the (also overpriced) UltraDock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Dock I have many in service and have never had any issues. Great for multi-screens when you don't want to use adapters, and plenty of USB ports for our needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB ports won't work I got it to work by connecting the keyboard and mouse directly into the laptop - but then what's the point? I had a X220 and the dock station worked really well. This one feels like a downgrade.
