Its color accuracy is the best among all monitors I've owned in the similar price range. Using SpyderX to calibrate, you'd get 100% coverage for sRGB, Adobe RGB and 95% for DCI-P3. Monitors with this performance usually sells 1.5 to 2 times of the price. Nonetheless, I am a bit disappointed with the OSD -- simply weird structured menus and under some settings I am not easily able to adjust the brightness or contrast. It's a pity that this monitor doesn't come with speakers. Nor does it work with Lenovo add-on speakers for monitors as far as I can see (correct me if I am wrong), so it is not super friendly if you'd like to save desktop space. I'd still recommend this monitor if you are prepared with these inconveniences.

I needed something that was color calibrated with a wide color gamut without totally breaking the bank (like some of the BenQ models. I can say that this monitor doesn't disappoint. The image quality is incredible--crisp and vibrant. It can easily charge a MacBook Pro with 100W+ of USB-C power delivery. Aesthetically, it might not win the award for "most beautiful," as the design is a bit utilitarian; however, it's not ugly by any means.You won't find some features here, like FreeSync or HDR, as this monitor is really designed for professionals, rather than gamers (although, I'm sure it works just fine for casual gaming). Overall, you won't be disappointed in this monitor. It packs great features for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jimy This is a fantastic 4K monitor. Shipping arrived before scheduled date. It was very easy to attach, I chose display mode. I did not have to make any further adjustments. One thing that did bother me was that I initially had a question about connections. I called the IBM number provided in the booklet and was quickly told that IBM does not provide any “technical” assistance with this monitor. I even asked to speak with a supervisor and was assured there would be no technical assistance. I was further told I would need to call my own computer technician. Other than that glitch I love the monitor. By the way the real reason I purchased this particular monitor was the USB C connection. I plugged in my 2018 MacBook Pro 15” and it immediately connected flawlessly. The upfront display mode settings make it a snap to switch devices and/or display modes.

It is a deeper investment for the 27 inch monitor, but well worth it! It's equipped with USB Type-C connector. The monitor make it easy for display, transit data and charge the my MacBook Pro with just 1 USB Type-C cable. The delivery is very fast....faster than my expectation. Lenovo has an exceptional products and services.

It's meeting my needs as an external monitor to my 15" MBP and does a beautiful job and displaying colors. I'd seen numerous mentions of people finding issue with the OS panel for displaying settings and such. I partially agreement that it could be a more intuitive setup, but it does offer great options and profiles. Considering adding a second display to my setup.

The only drawback I would say is that it doesn't have speakers built-in. Other than that It's great. It's a nice size and the red piece on the back is large enough for all the cords.

The size is perfect for my home workspace - I prefer one large 4K display rather than 2 separate 1080p displays. USB-C connectivity is also super nice and has been working well so far. Out of the box I heard a very quiet, high whine from the display when something mostly white was showing on screen, and some minor graphical artifacts in one corner of the screen, but it seems these issues have gone away and not returned. Overall loving this monitor so far and highly recommend for a USB-C home workspace :

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor for the price. Great Monitor for the price. Excellent color and contrast. My only complaint is the refresh rate at 4k. If you want the USB ports to be set to 3.0 Your refresh rate goes down to 30hz. At 2.0 you get 60hz.

The screen extension from laptop to monitor occurs automatically after the first connection -a great feature. [I wonder if that works with a laptop from a different manufacturer.] However, it's tricky to get sound from the laptop when playing a video using the monitor for an extended screen. Wish that were automatic, also. When I do get that working, controlling the volume is even trickier. I appreciate absence of a power-brick; wish the power cord didn't require grounding. [Both of those observations are doubly true for the Yoga 920 I use this monitor with.] It would be nice if the USB-c cord powering the Yoga from the mon. and carrying the signal were thinner and more flexible, but that's a minor annoyance.

However, every time I move the monitor either up and down, or tilt, the power cuts off. The power cable loosely grabs the connector making prone to disconnection. Other than that, so far so good as long as I leave it alone.

It's great at reproducing a wide gamut of colours and text is sharp and crisp. As someone who mainly consumes written material, I really appreciate that. I'm not a hardcore gamer but games like Gears 5, Halo 2 and Ori look gorgeous on this 4K monitor. Same for movies and photos. They really stand out. The myriad of ports make it easier to have a workstation, server, raspberrypi and laptop connected at the same time. The USB hub helps with the having my gadgets powered on the side. This monitor has greatly increased my productivity and is easy on the eyes. Hence, why I decided to get a second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spot on color for landscape photographers! The sRGB color profile is an exact match to my original images and aluminum prints I have made. Huge relief there! The matte non reflective screen takes a little getting used to since my images are all high gloss yet look matte on the screen. The quality of the monitor and stand are top notch. The way the stand and monitor snap together is superb. The monitor also is adjustable in every possible direction along with turning 90 degrees for vertical image work. Along with the plethora of connections i can run an HDMI cable to my tv and watch on my pc. Also I find the 3 USB connections quite handy for charging many desktop devices. I researched for many days and nights to find a replacement for my old 3000:1 contrast monitor and this Lenovo 4k did the trick. It's such a great feeling to have made the right purchase!

Got this at a great sale price. You will not need a separate monitor stand/riser as the screen has a wide range of adjustability but I use this in tandem with a laptop so I got a portable stand for my thinkpad. Happy I got this monitor to WFH. I do wish there was at least two USB-C connections.

This is much larger than my previous monitor and it is great to view and edit pictures on. I like being able to have two full size pages side by side to work on. The unit comes pre calibrated and has great color. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for a quality monitor to do photo work on without paying a $1000 or more. This is not a really fast monitor for gamers. I like the adjustable stand.

I recently decided to move from an iMac 27" desktop to PC and this monitor is perfect for editing images for my photography business. The color calibration, mat finish, 27" screen with minimum bezel & rotating position ticks all the boxes for me while staying in my price range. I can see adding a second one later.

Dell u2720p, LG ultrafine, hp z27q, BenQ pro art and finally this Lenovo machine. It took a while but I’m glad I’ve not settled right away. The colors are excellent, thunderbolt video link also charges my MacBook, wakes up effortlessly and did I mention the colors? If you’re in the market for the best business or design panel, trying this one out is a must.

The software provided by Lenovo is very useful for running multiple application in separate windows. Also, I have not detected any compatibility issues using this monitor with my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme (Gen 1, 4K version) laptop and the Lenovo Thunderbolt Thinkpad Hub.

For those, I would give the monitor 5 stars, no questions asked. However, since speakers are advertised as one of the features, I have to ding by one star, as the sound that is coming out of monitor is just plain horrible.

My quad bypass surgery on the 28th cut short my using it much since. My son set it up on my wife's computer and I may need to arm wrestle her to get it back. My photo's have never looked as good as they do on this monitor. I may be getting another one, and soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Driver issues and connection issues This monitor required an updated driver that was not automatically installed by the Lenovo Service Bridge; requiring the process of logging in as an administrator, uninstalling the display adapter and rebooting. It is simple in hindsight. I also had connection issues with both the power, UBB-C and HDMI cables. I am hoping that they were just not pushed in sufficiently. Other than that, the monitor seems to be working fine -- even better once I set the display to the 4k setting.

Default color is a bit yellow and took me a while to figure out the optimial setting to my preference. The adjustable height is good but could be higher to match my existing monitor. This 4K monitor is exactly what I needed. With the higher resolution I can fit multiple windows on the screen and get a lot more done. I use this in an office setting and am at least as productive on this as my dual-monitor setup at home. Nice monitor, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

Please forgive me if I make any misunderstanding through the review. Great product overall. Works better with PC than MAC. Here are some noticeable things you might want to know. All the result test through 2017 Macbook pro(no touchbar using USB-C connector and a PC laptop using HDMI connector. 1. Have software allows you to adjust color settings. However, only available in PC, not MAC. 2. Unable to adjust the brightness if you are using low blue light mode. (might be the universal property of this function) 3. Night light mode for Windows works well, but Nightshift for MAC does not work. 4. Unable to adjust the brightness through the operating system. ( work with MAC after I download a third-party software) 5. Does not have a speaker. If you connect a speaker to the audio jack, it is possible to adjust the volume for PC, not MAC. 6. On-screen control is kind of old school, but do the work. 7. The button on the monitor is quite soft, the reliability for long term use is questionable. 8. Charge my 2017 Macbook pro(no touchbar) at 45W using USB-C connector, wake up fast and reliable. 9. USB hub support USB2 speed when you use USB-C at 4K 60hz. If you request USB3 speed, you have to choose a lower resolution (Reasonable, If you want USB3 and 4K 60hz at the same time, please consider thunderbolt3 monitor)

The ports are just right, DisplayPort plus USB connections. My friend is interested in buying one and is coming off to see it.
