Rated 5 out of 5 bymantes from Decent, but not as good as the Logitech X140Unfortunately the Logitech X140 is being discontinued as the Z200 is a recommended replacement. The Z200 speakers are good but not as good as the X140 and both are in the same price range. The X140 sounded better with more range as is has different sized speakers. The Z200 has 4 speakers which are all the same size, hence the range is not as good . The X140 speakers also had metal grates which protected the speakers and the Z200 has no protection so the speaker can be easily damaged. The Z200 are very light which makes them feel cheap. The X140 had a nice solid feel to them.

Rated 5 out of 5 byjb811 from Logitech Z200 - 3 sets defective out of 6. Returning all.Shipped quickly and delivered undamaged. When opened, 3 of the 6 sets of speakers are defective. Two have bad wiring at the back of the right speaker, they only work if you bend the wires just right. On one set the right channel is dead, both in the speakers and in the headphone out. Wiggling wires did not get any sound.For ~$30 speakers the sound is OK, not much bass but I wasn't expecting much. They are capable of reasonable volume (for ~$30 speakers) and the auxiliary input works fine. The tone control doesn't do much, so not much help if you are trying to increase the clarity of voices.

Rated 5 out of 5 byroyboy from good all around speakerWe were looking for a reasonable amplified set of speakers that could comfortably push sound around a small/medium sized classroom. Pros:Louder than we expected (works well even in some of our larger classrooms)Good sound quality (not laptop speakers, but not a home stereo system either)Cons:You have to have external power, actually a plus in our case.
