Tripp Lite's NetController 16-Port, 1U rackmount KVM switch is an affordable, highly-flexible enterprise class KVM switch, which allows the user to connect either USB or PS/2 keyboards and mice. In addition, P780-Series USB/PS2 combo KVM cable kits allow you to connect either USB or PS/2 computers, without the need to purchase separate cables or adapters. Control up to 16 directly connected computers, or expand the number of connected computers to up to 256 by daisychaining up to 15 additional B042-Series KVM switches. Switch between connected computers via the On-Screen Display (OSD), pushbuttons, or keyboard hotkey commands. Other features include: password protection, auto-scanning, auto-logout, firmware upgrade and video support up to 2048x1536 (QXGA). Mounts easily in a standard 19" rack/cabinet and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Compatible with all major operating systems. Constructed of heavy-duty steel housing.

Rated 5 out of 5 bykkunkel from Great switchWe have had the KVM switch for several years and it has worked flawlessly. Setup was very straightforward. The user manual is laid out very logically and is easy to follow. The USB/PS2 connections were a major selling point for me as I have some equipment that still uses PS2 ports. Having the PS2 connections built into the cable is much more reliable than having an adapter plugged in the end of the USB cable. I have been very satisfied with the switch and would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJeff from Great KVM, best part is the added module for KVM over Cat6I needed a solution to allow me to have a remote KVM in another room - without having to put another computer and do KVM over IP. This unit supports the extender unit that allows you to put a keyboard mouse and monitor in that other room location something like 500ft away and works great as if being attached to a KVM in the same room.
