I have this in a work van to provide power for operating a laptop, recharging batteries, running tools like a small air compressor and lights. Has come in handy in using my tools in assisting stranded motorists to get them back on the road. I like the battery saver feature that will not let it discharge my vehicle battery to the point of not having starting power.

Rated 5 out of 5 byjefferyofsky from NoI came to this website to check up on the model I was going to purchase. It said 60Hz, and the voltage 120. Modified Sine Wave are usually 115, so I assumed, that this was a pure sine inverter. They are way more expensive than other models, and astronomical compared to to others I have had. I got it home and it would not run a Induction Hotplate, which then I realized I was mistaken and not a Pure Sine inverter. This should be stated more clearly on the product pages, it seems deceptive to me. It will be the last time I purchase a Tripp-Lite.
