12 Amp supply gets the job done well for astro-imaging observatory
Heavy input transformer, well regulated output at 13.50 volts. Makes a great test bench supply for instruments that use standard car battery supply voltage. I was a little disappointed to find the output binding posts are NOT spaced to accept standard double banana plugs. Using this to power a telescope mount and associated anti dew and imaging gear, as well as a test bench supply. I would recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy, regulated linear power supply
This 12 amp peak power supply is overkill for my new 10 watt ham radio transceiver, but as such, it should last for my lifetime!

Great equipment, prompt service
Bought this power supply in order to get a collector's item working -- a mid-1970s era destination sign from a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus. It's the perfect PS for the job, simple to wire-up, and one-switch easy to operate. Everything was packed well, and arrived a couple of days earlier than I expected. So I'm a happy TrippLite customer. (We use a lot of TrippLite stuff where I work, too.)

I would buy this product again and also recommend it.
I use it on my crane to power a couple of bright fog lights, my crane is powered by an electric motor that runs the hyd. system so only 120 volt supply. The Tripp-Lite VR is an excellent solution to my problem.
