Xerox Phaser 6510DNI - printer - color - LED is rated 4.36 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer Xerox has done it right again. This printer uses toner, not solid ink. So your printouts will be flexible. Colors are consistent and smooth, not grainy, and uniformly spread out. The time to first page is great, and I expect toner to be very reasonably priced. Mine has WiFi printing and connectivity but I haven't used those yet. But I expect I will. Total winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Speed and Quality This printer replaced a "big as a boxcar" Phaser 7760DN, which had kind of bought the farm and required substantial repairs. I knew I was giving up the ability to do 11 x 17" output, but for the enormous difference in price, I decided to bite the bullet and go with a smaller printer that was LED (vs. basic laser). What a pleasant surprise. This printer is super fast and the output is well within the standards for laser printing. My only complaint is I had to call Xerox support to figure out how to print #10 envelopes. Quite a few menu items to get the thing set up right to print out of the manual tray, but once they showed me how, works like a gem now. Would definitely recommend it. Get the wireless version for maximum versatility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long-time fan of Phaser printers I'm quite happy with my new 6510 printer. My old Phaser was a workhorse and this one is too. The old one has printed 30,000 pages and still is running strong. The 6510 is much, much faster, and is still built like a work horse. It also goes into low-power mode faster, and wakes faster. I wanted a new printer and had considered ink jet printers, but after reading reviews and examining models, none of them impressed me. Forced consumption of inks (for cleaning) and less reliability didn't appeal to me. This laser printer seems maintenance-free. It's easy to connect, but the set-up menu can be a bit confusing so I called tech support to help me. They answered the phone in less than a minute and helped me find the right settings in less than a minute. The "problem" settings for me were 1) the default paper size was A4, which had to be changed. 2) the printer was set to print a start-up page each time when it's turned on and first used. (unnecessary). Once the printer is connected, it's easy to print a menu page to see where the settings are. I keep that printed menu page nearby in case I need to change settings in the future. Navigation through menu items is a bit nutty and takes a few minutes to get used to... like using up and down arrows on a remote control to find things. Once you set things, you may never have to change anything again, so it's more or less a one-time hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does good job for your needs. Only issue is the toner cartridges do not last very long. When I usually only print black, it is disturbing that I have to ever replace the other cartridges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Previous owner of a Xerox Phaser 6280. After 8 years of great performance it was time to upgrade. When looking at replacement options Xerox was still a solid option. The 6280 performed very well with no failures. One major factor was the on-going expense, the 6510 Xerox genuine toner cartridges were a lower cost then the 6280 after-market toners. With the new toner application and competitive OEM toner costs the 6510 was a solid option. After a few weeks of use the print quality is great and the smaller footprint is certainly appreciated. Looking forward to another quality long-life Xerox product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turns it's self on automatically to heat up. Doesn't print the precise color. Trouble shooting said it needed a new drum. That didn't fix the issue so they sent a service tech out. He couldn't fix the problem. My 15 year old Dell printer printed the color on the screen. This printer can't. No color fixing controls seem to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving this Printer The quality of the printer is very good. We had our 6180 Phaser for over 10 years, and just recently upgraded to the 6510DNI. The set up instructions could have been better, but all in all, we really like this printe.
