I have about 600 of these in use and have not had a single issue outside of a few screens broken from negligence ie dropping it or nocking them over. Colors, contrast and brightness work well across multiple lighting conditions with the preset or auto features. I would highly recommend this product.

This 19" Acer LED monitor was very easy to set up (placing monitor on the stand), and then hook up to my laptop. I purchased this monitor for dual screen capabilities and connect my laptop using an HDMI cord. The monitor supports DVI or VGA ports and NOT HDMI. You would need an adapter like I had to purchase to connect to a HDMI only laptop/desktop connection etc. Overall, good bang for the buck and would recommend for the occasional use.

Great price, good features and a good all around design, the base is a decent size to grant stability and the control panel is easily navigated. The monitor has VGA and DVI-D inputs and includes cables for both connections. Overall a great monitor at an affordable price.

It's not fancy, but for business needs such as running spreadsheets and typing up documents, emailing and even viewing videos it suits our needs. I wish the screen was taller vertically, but width wise it's perfect. I would recommend it for business use for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Great Value We ordered 20 of these for our telemarketing center. Very simple monitors but great quality and value for the price. They have VGA and DVI inputs so don't order if you have HDMI needs. For around $90-100 a pop, these were perfect for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Windows 7 driver on Acer site. The Technical Specifications on this CDW site do not show that this LCD is for Windows 8 only. In Windows 7 it uses the Generic Non-PnP Monitor driver. The display is a little too bright. The Auto Config sets the Brightness to 100. I moved it down to 85.

However, if using a black background, it is difficult to get the brightness & contrast settings to not be overwhelming without compromising the quality of the view. This monitor offers no Windows 7 Driver, Windows 8 only as I called ACER support myself. Not sure how you don't support Windows 7 when a vast majority of companies use Windows 7 not Windows 8.

Obviously this is a cheap monitor so cant expect the world from it, but viewing angles are extremely poor and if you are not looking directly at it there is a LOT of color shift/washout. Completely unusable in portrait mode. HOWEVER, for my purpose as a second monitor for the laptop while on the road: Very easy to assemble/disassemble the stand so I can quickly pack/unpack it from the box, color representation is reasonable, screen resolution of 1600x900 is reasonable for a 20" monitor, can provide a more enjoyable YouTube experience than the laptop screen although not for anyone else who isn't watching dead on due to poor viewing angles. Also, a VESA mount means it works on desk mounts which can put it at a better viewing height. Would only recommend if you cant cough up more dough for something like a Benq monitor which usually use better VA panels which give a much nicer display and are still very affordable.

I chose this monitor because of the low cost and the fact that it had a mini-vga, DVI and VGA connection ports. The monitors have worked well, the only negative I've noticed is that they seem to have very poor contrast. Everything appears washed out even after making the adjustments through the monitor's settings menus.
