The parts of the case on the corner surrounding the 3 openings for buttons and the camera are narrow and therefore relatively fragile. Mine broke there. Not sure how. This is my second case - I like how it functioned well enough to buy another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracks Easily I would love to give this keyboard case 5 stars. I think this is at least my third one. I absolutely love it . . . But the cover that holds my IPad cracked on every one I’ve had. The replacement case I’ve now had for only a few months has cracked already. I have never dropped it or abused it in any way. We have tried to glue the corners just to get some use out of the case before I have to replace it. Certainly not worth $100.

I now use this keyboard almost daily and unfortunately 5 keys have broken and completely fallen off the keyboard. I really like this keyboard as it has a good size and feel to the keys. But, if you plan to use this keyboard a lot then it could potentially lose its keys.

Have used one for 4 years, but then the magnets that hold the screen to the keyboard started breaking loose, and the device wasn't able to hold together properly, even though my husband re-glued them. So I decided to spend the money and buy a new case. So happy to have this new device which works properly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frame breaks We like the unit but I'm on my third replacement because the frames keep breaking. They've replaced under warranty but it's an inconvenience. It's not because of misuse because we're two old people who take care of their stuff.

It also serves for Correspondence via text as a useful alternative to a smartphone. I keep it open next to my Computer and communicate with it while working, then take it with me on the road to prevent damage to my larger Lap Top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brittle plastic cover This is my second one. The corners of the first one broke after the iPad slipped off the couch. I looked at alternatives but really liked the features and nothing else still available came close. So I bought a second one, determined to be especially careful to place it securely on a table when not in use. And now, after only a few weeks, I notice that I have several cracks on the plastic cover which is on the back of the keyboard part. It is still the best keyboard but I don’t know how long it will be before the cover breaks off completely which will expose all of the electronics of the keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GOOD (But some parts fell out) I’ve been using this keyboard for about 2-3 weeks, and it’s good, The keyboard is good to type on (typing on it rn). I also like how it only works when it’s connected to the magnets for easier use. But here’s some problems: 1. The fn key fell out, but I put the key back and it still works. A newer problem is that the top right cover for the magnet is stating to fell off. But for the most part, it’s good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a great keyboard case. I bought this primarily to use when I fly to a vacation destination and want something lighter than my MacBook Pro. I’m impressed with its functionality. The fact that it turns off the iPad when closed, maintains the BT connection, and has extraordinary battery life make it extremely usable. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but functions perfectly. It’s hard to argue with the quality or its functions.

I would of given a five rating but they changed the cover from a hard metal material, silver top to more of a black plastic top. The silver metal case had protected my iPad from many falls/drops. The new one I received for an updated work iPad is not exactly the same. In saying that it is still my favorite style case. Ease of use and great keyboard! Would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Keyboard I bought this keyboard case about 3-weeks ago, to replace my previous Belkin keyboard, which is now about 4 years old and is still going strong, but showing some wear. The new keyboard case is extremely light, but still provides complete coverage for my iPad when I travel. Top quality, good typing feel, a few oddly placed keys, but you quickly adapt. The keyboard folds easily under the iPad when you don't need it.

I purchased it for a family member who had previously enjoyed the Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard case for the iPad Air 2. So, when it came time to replace the iPad, we naturally looked for the same case for it. I did notice when purchasing this one that it was only available in black but didn't think much of it. I set it up on the new iPad and the new owner couldn't see the keys well enough so I have had to return it. There is not enough contrast with the almost-white on black labels for the keys. Too bad because this is a nice keyboard.

Needed it for a new IPad (5th generation) which apparently is slightly different than the prior generations. Pros: The Bluetooth connection is almost immediate, much faster than other keyboards I’ve seen. The stainless steel appearance on the keyboard is attractive. The keys are very responsive and easy to type on for a keyboard this size. Cons: Most significant con is the moving of the semi-colon,colon key. Instead of putting next to L, the moved it to the right of the space bar. This moves the apostrophe key under your right pinky finger and the return key to where the apostrophe key should be. This is highly annoying - especially if you are good a typing. Especially bad when doing text messages when you go to use an apostrophe and instead hit the return key submitting your message. Note to Belkin - NOT A GOOD IDEA TO CHANGE A STANDARD KEYBOARD!. The outside of the case is black plastic, smooth on one side and slightly textured on the other. Not altogether impressed with the external looks and feel but acceptable. I’ve only been using for a week or so - time will tell if I can get used to the changed key pattern. Other than that, the keyboard is very functional and suitable for a business environment.

I think I charged the battery only 6 times since I got it in 2013. This is a great addition to anyone’s iPad. Your products rock. I know this one will be just as good. Thank you.

I have been using my iPad like a little laptop and also as a tablet. Seriously,though, is the customer service. Absolutely the best of any industry I have ever dealt with. They have been fabulous. A splash of wine spilt on keyboard and it has numerous keys tha won’t respond. I’ve had spills on past Belkins with no issues. Thai was a small amount and cleaned up immediately. I’m typing from my screen keyboard and ordering a Zagg

Old keyboard had a detachable keyboard and back light. This new keyboard does not have those features so now I have a better iPad but an inferior keyboard and considering returning it.

We just found one in stock around 2 weeks ago. Have had it about 5 days and love it. It is lightweight and I like the keyboard as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great keyboard, Fair Case This is my 3rd Bellini iPad Keyboard case. The first one was for the very early model iPad and I wore it out so ordered another. They worked so well that I finally had to replace the iPad because it got old instead of broken. This Ultimate Lite Keyboard case has a great keyboard and I like the magnetic stand, great angles. I am not as happy with the material used for the case. It may be lighter but I think it feels and looks cheaper and is also slicker so I don’t feel as secure when I grasp it. I would recommend going to a store to buy it so you could feel and handle one, especially if you liked it predecessor. I gave it 4 stars because I like the keyboard (although it is unlit) and I think it is better than most competitors,

I’ve tried other brands but they are not as well made and I like that the case goes all the way around the ipad - not just most of the way. The iPad is more secure if dropped, etc. I also like how easy it is to pair up the keyboard and the iPad - great if you are not particularly tech savvy. I just purchased two more for an older relative and I 15 year old. It works for everyone and is professional looking so I can take it to court with me. I’m a believer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great IPad protection After examining several alternative covers for the 6th generation IPad, this is far and away the most satisfactory. it is good quality with a hard back (Unlike several flimsy alternatives offered by other manufacturers),one-stop keyboard and easy installation. I couldn't be happier with my week-old purchase. The cover is virtually identical to one i used on an IPad Mini for 5 years. it appears unbreakable and likely to last for a long time. Excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT Product This is my Third Belkin Keyboard. My first was 6 years ago for my first iPad. After 5 years I replaced it. It actually Saved my iPad when it fell off my SUV onto pavement while driving down the road. After a couple years I reluctantly replaced it. It was still working but tape wouldn’t hold it together anymore. That first iPad still has the second keyboard. I bought my current keyboard for my new iPad because I’ve been so pleased with the previous ones. Like, they work right out of the box and seem to last a really long time on a charge. When I say really long time I mean R E A L L Y. L O N G time. I use my iPad more than my PC, like Every day.. and have only had to charge the previous ones a couple times a year. I actually like the case a bit better than the previous model I have. Even though the stainless didn’t ever scratch I always wanted something soft under it to keep it from moving around. The current one (that I’m using to write this review) works like a charm. It makes the iPad feel like a laptop and its so convenient to not have it plugged in. It’s Definitely Worth the money!!
