The Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch + iPhone is the first dock to include an integrated charger for the Apple Watch. The dock uses the same magnetic technology as the Apple Watch charging cable. Magnets align the connectors automatically, and inductive charging begins instantly.

The dock also features an integrated Lightning connector for iPhone. With both connectors hardwired into the dock, charging your Apple Watch and iPhone simultaneously can be done with a single cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Product I have had this for 3 months now. (Purchased at my local Apple Store.) Yes, it is a bit pricey. However, it does very well on my night stand. I love that I can charge my phone and my watch on the same unit. I like that I can charge with or without a case with the adjustment knob on the back of the charging unit. I also like that I don't have to use my charging cables. It makes my nightstand not look cluttered with cords and I am able to keep the original cords for travel. My only complaint is that the Watch Band Support circumference is to large to wrap my 38mm Modern Buckle Band (size M) and connect the band (as you would on your wrist). Without being able to clasp my band, it sits on the charger very loosely. There have been mornings that I have found my watch on the floor (I assume my cat must have accidentaly bumped it off. I have tried charging my watch without the Watch Band Support and my watch clasped, it actually seems less secure as the watch watch seems to rotate to the left. Belkin could you please make a smaller version to the Watch Band Support to help support the watch/bands for those of us with normal to smaller wrists. Thanks in advance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waste of money Bought this with my iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 3. I still have the Series 3 but upgraded to An Xr. It’s not the incompatibility of the Xr I’m worried about, it’s the complete failure of the Apple Watch charger. The magnet still works, but no charge to the watch. Other people are having similar issues as well on online forums. Save your money.

Coming from a dock to charge my iPhone (speaker dock by JBL), and another dock to charge my ?WATCH (Twelve South, LOVED IT)... I was super excited to see just one black nondescript cable coming from my Valet by Belkin over the two cables (one white one black) from the two chargers was very pleasing to the eyes! Less clutter! More space! Overall a better charging experience. Visually look at the Valet and see that one wasn't on the dock, better get the watch off for the night, and in the morning the magic 100% on both! I love this, and am very glad I purchased it. Can't wait for my iPhone 7 Plus to take it's rightful place as the 6S bows out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from iOS 12.1 fixed nothing! My wife and I both have these next to our bed. We both upgraded to iPhone XS when they first came out. Like everyone else, our docks no longer work with the new phones. I was holding out hope that iOS 12.1 would fix the issue but I didn’t. Now it’s just an expensive Apple Watch charger. I am sure once my new watch shows up in a few weeks it probably won’t charge the newest version of that either. Funny how every other charger I own works just fine.

They say it wasn’t designed for the new iPhone, yet every Apple charger and wire still works from day one. Why doesn’t this? I say poor design and poor planing while charging top dollar. Sad. I know have a very expensive paper weight. Last Belkin product I will ever buy.

First, the watch portion only allows it to rest as on a wrist, but the Apple Watch has to sit sideways if you use it for an alarm clock which my husband does, so it didn't work as he needed. Second, he uses a protective case for his iPhone and the charger could not connect unless he removed it from the case and he didn't want to do that daily, so it didn't work for him. It was unfortunately, as I was hoping to combine these into a single charging station and clean up the bedside table. The stand itself is very good, but didn't suit his particular needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from extremely bad without explanation worked fine with 6s, 7 and 8 plus. Now with Xs Max it stopped working. “not compatible” belkin states. Literally ALL other chargers I own (more then 6 and most also aftermarket) still work fine charging the Xs Max. Very coincidentally belkin is releasing a new version that will be “compatible”, which some are offered at a whopping 20% discount ( <- yes sarcasm). I believe belkin should release a very detailed technical explanation as to why this product is no longer compatible and why it can not be fixed. However this is probably a prime example of build-in obsoleteness. Would not be surprised if this leads to a class-action in the US. Wish that was possible in the Netherlands.

But in practice the iPhone connector felt unstable and difficult to align with the phone (mine is in a slim leather case, which I suppose might have caused some of my challenge?). I'm going to keep looking for the right dock for my needs.

Charges for 1 second then disconnects from iPhone XS. So sad to see Apple continue to partner with Belkin when their products suck. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT SUPPORT BELKIN!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this charge dock! I could not have designed my own charge dock for my iPhone 6s Plus and my Apple Sport Watch better than this Belkin! This dock is made of high quality materials and I appreciate that it only has the ONE cord to charge TWO items, my nightstand looks more organized, less cluttered. The best feature is the Lightning plug for the iPhone moves up and down easily with a dial on the back of the dock, that way no matter which case I have on my iPhone it fits perfectly. The arm to charge the Apple Watch is perfectly designed as my watch easily slides on, no matter which band is on my watch. I also like the rubber grip pad at the bottom of the iPhone lighting charging pin, as it keeps my iPhone from sliding around while charging. I highly recommend this Belkin item as it's held up very well and exceeded my expectations since I bought it online about 9 months ago. I also find it charges my iPhone 6s Plus faster than any other non-Apple Chargers and I like that my iPhone and Watch are next to each other, ready to grab each morning. Thanks Belkin!

Must be evident as the new design shows a much sturdier construction. Needless to say one of the units has snapped at the base. Only had them since November 2016. The second one is weak too but has not broken like the first. Seems like it is actually plastic at the base where it should be something stronger.

Every few minutes the phone stops charging, and then ten seconds later starts charging again. I wish I could post a video of how ridiculous this is. Overall, the product worked well for an iPhone 7 but DOES NOT WORK for the new iPhones!

Unfortunately with my new iPhone X the dock is constantly connecting and disconnecting. The watch seems to charge fine, but having the phone constantly vibrate and the screen light up is a reminder that it's not working correctly. I imagine it's not good for the battery either. Not sure if this is a common issue or not.

Unfortunately, once I upgraded to an iPhone XS the dock basically became a $130 watch charger… if you plug in the phone it charges for 2 seconds, disconnects, charges for 2 seconds, and so on. I know this dock came out before the phone did, but so did all my other iPhone accessories and none of them stopped working. Terrible for an MFi certified device purchased at an Apple Store.

I am so happy that I bought this product. If you have not tried it yet, you really need to because it is the best product I have found out there and I have tried many.

Having a device that keeps the phone and watch together with one cord is great. Best feature is the height adjustable lightning connector for the phone...accommodates cases. The weighted base keeps it from moving. It is a bit expensive but it is well made and solid.

A real disappointment as it was represented to be adjustable for all cases. It is great for the watch and it does charge my pencil. Just wish it was truly as advertised. The charging attachment needs to come up higher.

The watch displays "device not compatible," which is a bummer because the product specifically says apple certified. Apparently not. I wanted to like this, but the irregularity of the watch charger working makes me dislike it, a lot.

This docking station sits on my nightstand and looks absolutely beautiful (I have the silver). I love that there is a single, thin, black wire that goes almost unnoticed out the back of the dock for both devices. Some others that I researched still required two cables. Now, I've eliminated the lengthy cable for the Apple Watch that is provided out-of-the-box and am now able to reserve that for traveling only–this is clutch. This dock is by far the best one out there and will definitely get another if I ever buy my wife an Apple Watch too.

It’s funny that more than half of the reviews talk about this this product stops working after a few months, yet every response from Belkin says, “this is not a common issue.” Mine stopped working the day after I could no longer take it back for refund at the Apple store - just two weeks! It will not charge my watch at all any more, and as countless reviews have mentioned, it intermittently charges my iPhone X (vibrates on and off rapidly). This is bad fo the battery, so now I’ve got a $130 paperweight on my nightstand. Do not buy this product without reading the reviews!!

It registers as charging immediately, then stops working after a few seconds to a minute. It seems as if iphone put out an update that interferes with the chargers compatibility. Please fix asap.

It's a great piece, but sad to say LifeProof's Nuud case for my 6S is just a hair too deep to allow the lightning port to reach my phone.... bummer. Belkin says right on the box it fits most cases. I took the chance.

And, it looks really cool! You've hit it out of the park. Now let's get to work on something similar for my car. Forget attaching to my ac vents. Let's elimate wires. I know you can come up with a design.

Nice design concept and look, so I purchased at the same time as the watch. Easy to set-up and worked great --- but for only 2 weeks. Watch still charges fine; however, my iPhone 6 no longer does. Phone charges fine on my other chargers, so something has stopped working in the dock itself. Unfortunately, Apple is out of stock on these units and cannot replace for me.

Pros: - Charges both Phone and Watch quickly. - Provides own power cable. - Base is just heavy enough to keep it from easily sliding off nightstand/desk. - Well thought out design: Even Otterbox Commuter series cases can fit on the stand and charge. - Aesthetically pleasing. Cons: - Initial product had high-pitched power adapter whine.*More On This Below* - Nightstand mode on Watch difficult to manage. Conclusion All in all, this is exactly what companies should be doing with phones and smartwatches: self-powered and paired. The base could be heavier or have some sticky nubs for the base to prevent movement, but that's about the only way to improve this product, and that's minor, minor stuff. I'd love to see an Android companion made in this way, with a USB-C connector, but there's too much variation in Android watch design to provide watch charging. This is one of those accessories that makes it a difficult decision to switch from Apple, because it cannot be easily replaced. *On The Power Adapter* I purchased this product initially through Apple in January 2016, but I had a problem: the power adapter whined. High enough pitch that it kept me from falling asleep. Well, this problem occurred through three iterations of exchange, and finally, in April, I got a replacement power adapter that cut out the whine. I gave some time for issue to occur again, but it's been great so far. Belkin worked with me, listened, and solved the problem in only a couple months. When we're talking fabrication, product lines and all - I have to say it went quickly all things considered, and it really helped form an extremely positive image of the company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works until it doesn't I have had 2 of these units. One purchased in 2018 that didnt last a year. Belkin replaced it with another unit. That unit lasted just over a year and is now out of warranty. Their suggestion was to buy another. If $199 (original price paid) is reasonable for you to spend for something that lasts between 9 months-18 months then go for it. If you think that is ridiculous, it may be best to purchase something a bit more disposable.

Definetly need to keep the surface free of any dust etc. The lightening charger can be annoying depending on any covers that are on a phone or in my case, an iPad mini. It wiggles around and doesn't always match. It is adjustable which helps. I use it on a desk.

I have it on my nightstand, and I love never having to search for cords at the end of the day. Just set my devices down on the charger, and they are ready to go in the morning. Had a bit of trouble adjusting height of lightning connector because the wheel was a bit hard to turn. In the end it worked out okay.

It offers a convenient solution for charging both my iPhone 6s Plus and my Apple Watch 38mm Sport. The Valet lets me use the original respective charging cables for travel preventing the need to spend additional money on a second set. Awesome product and would buy again!

I recently upgrade my phone to the iPhone Xs and now it won’t charge. It goes from charging to not charging every few seconds. Seems ridiculous considering Apple didn’t change their charger.

After an iPhone upgrade to XS this turned into an unwieldy Apple Watch charger, just as everyone else is saying. I can still charge Apple TV remote and the watch, but have to use another charger for the phone. Like everyone else, I'm extremely surprised with this, because even the cheapest lightning bulk cables I got off Amazon for $2/piece still work fine with XS. But not this MFI dock that Apple themselves certified and sold. Go figure!

I even loved the angle at which the watch is charging at - really get for nightstand mode. Now (out of nowhere!) my iPhone X continually vibrates and doesn't charge. Not only is it really annoying, but I am concerned about the phone's battery health. Needless to say, I am really disappointed.

After 3 years finally upgraded to new iPhone only to find out this dock won't charge my new iPhones. Same lightning connector, but now its just a $129 watch charger. Horrible product if you cannot upgrade to a new phone and it cannot supply power. Waste of money.

Unfortunately, it stopped working after only a couple months. My husband switched the cord on his to mine and we realized the issue is with the charging cord, not the unit itself. Very disappointed that this would happen to a pricey item after only a couple months.

It build quality is second to none and it has the high end appeal to match my Apple products. It’s had many different iPhones and all the Apple watches over the years and has always worked flawlessly....until now. I bought the XS max so you already know. I get technology changes and I accept that so I’ll rate the Valet on my previous years experiences. I’m sad to see it go but am happy that it lives on on my wife’s nightstand. Hopefully you’ll release something new soon maybe a wireless charging version.

It has saved my desk space and also has been charging my Apple phone and my Watch, a lot faster than my older equipment did. it also has a very appealing look(silver) that is unobtrusive so that I don't feel that it takes up a lot of space. The added piece that holds the Watch in place has saved my watch band keeping it up and out of the way which something that I personally think is a great idea

The lightning mount is adjustable for height which allows it to accommodate different cases. The only drawback is that the watch rotates a little and does not sit perfectly upright as shown. Other than that it's great!

I bought this about 10 months ago and recently upgraded to the iPhone XS that uses the SAME charger as phones supported on this dock, but it wont charge. Belkin acknowledges this but only way they will make it right is to send back the faulty unit for a discount on the new one. Not the best situation to get into.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love the style but I wish the connecter went highe I have been using it for just 3 nights now, and I do love it. I had cables all over my nightstand and it was a mess. Now it is clean. It is pricey, should be less than $100 but my wife said go for it so I did. My Otter box case (it is their biggest case) had some issues connecting. I had to cut off the rubber door to lightning connector. If the connector on the Valet would have just been able to go a bit higher I wouldn't have had to do that. The other issue is I can't do nightstand mode. Not a huge deal but I did like that functionality. Otherwise this is a great product and I love it. It charges well and looks great. So I gave it 3 stars because of Price, can't do nightstand mode, and I had to cut my Otter box case. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Upgraded to iPhone XR and unfortunately now this is just a really overpriced watch charger. Very disappointed to have spent $130 on something that became obsolete this fast. I see new line of bakers coming out claming compatibility with the new iPhones, not sure I’ll spend the money to upgrade.

There is 1 major flaw and that it is NOT possible to charge the apple watch in night stand mode. Night stand mode is one of the great features of the apple watch and I miss not being able to use this feature on this Belkin product. If I am missing something here please let me know. I gave this rating 4 stars because of this otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Belkin does not stand behind their products!I understand that this is a premium priced product, which was fine because I was planning on using this dock for a long time. Unfortunately, this product is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OF APPLE'S NEWEST IPHONES, including the XR, XS, and XS Max, even though they still use the lightning connector. This is absurd! All of my other accessories use the lightning connector work fine, but this one is now a useless paperweight. If this was a cheap knock-off product, I could probably let this go, but for this to happen to a premium priced product with the "Made for iPhone" designation sold at the Apple Store is unacceptable. Belkin should stop selling this dock immediately and replace it with a compatible product for ALL iPhones. You've just lost a customer!

Confused how Belkin could use such proprietary technology that it is not somewhat future proof when cheaper much less expensive docks and cables have no issue. I understand technology changes but Apple did not indicate any significant updates to charging in this most recent iteration. For the price of a new dock from Belkin I'm not sure I trust that I won't run in to the same issue next year, this isn't something that should be an annual purchase.

I would have to say though, that since updating my phone recently, it doesn’t always charge it. I woke up to a phone still at 59%, it stopped charging some time during the night. It now goes in and out periodically. Currently searching for a new charger.

It is much easier getting the phone on and off the stand. My previous Watch charger was a mess trying to feed the Apple-provided Watch charger through its maze of trenches.

The quality is awesome and I love the fact that power is provided to both, the phone and watch chargers off of just one cord. I also love that I don't need to use two of my own charging cables for it. It is all supplied from a single provided cord. Extremely sturdy and well made. I would recommend it to anyone looking to charge multiple devices on a dock with a lot of style.

However, I recently upgraded to the XS Max and it no longer charges my phone. I am so incredibly disappointed that I can’t use it anymore. I hope that there is some type of discount for people who already have a charger but aren’t forced to buy a new one now, otherwise I will be getting rid of this charger and never buying another Belkin product.

The one drawback, according to the recipient, is that the iPhone's protective case makes it a little harder to connect it to the charger, but it's not impossible.

As soon as they released the rose gold I was sold. I've tried a few other similar charge stands from Amazon but they had a lot of time consuming assembly and I didn't want to damage my charging cords. This one is all one piece and easy to set up. It's the perfect weight to not get bumped off a table but yet not very heavy. Also non skid to help with it staying put. Kind of in love with it and bonus have an extra place to charge both watch and phone since it is one entire unit $80 for extra chargers or $120 for one unit that is adorable and organized

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work with iPhone XS I used to have an iPhone 7, it worked fine. Now I have changed for the iPhone XS, it keeps going in and out of charging. Seems to be linked all iPhones X and above, according to reviews. Do not buy if you have an iPhone XS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better value than buying second watch charger It does what it claims and only has one cord to plug into the wall. It certainly makes for a more organized look on my dresser. The watch magnet isn't supper strong but if you place your watch on there deliberately it works just fine. Frees up my watch charger for travel. Be sure to look for available coupons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with newer iPhones :( While the dock itself is a good product and looks great, I am very disappointed that such an expensive dock does not support the newer iPhones even though it is a certified lightning product and older Apple chargers still charge newer phones without any problems. It is already problematic that important technological changes produce tons of ewaste each year, so that I find it unacceptable that this dock does not charge newer phones with identical connectors.

Not only does the dock look great, with a sleek minimalist look, but it is extremely sturdy and well-made. The base is appropriately heavy, so that the dock doesn't move around accidentally. The support bar provides a backing for the iPhone to lean against and a perfect cradle for the Apple Watch. The Lightning jack, which flexes front to back, can be adjusted up or down several millimeters to accommodate varying sizes of cases. I have a standard iPhone 6s case and have no difficulty setting the phone on the jack as I place it on the stand (no fumbling to get the jack in the port, etc.). The best thing about the design of this dock relative to others which purport to do the same thing is that the lightning jack and magnetic watch cradle are integrated into the dock. I don't need to thread and fish my cables through a channel or hole to charge my devices. My cables can now be easily used to charge my devices at work or while traveling, without the need to remove them from a dock. The device is powered by a single cord that plugs into the back of the dock. Since criticism is appropriate to a review, I would share two issues where this dock doesn't do something I had hoped to have and saw in other choices: 1) There are no additional USB ports on the dock to plug in additional devices (e.g., an iPad). 2) the watch cradle doesn't allow for the watch to hang sideways, enabling nightstand mode. Although I wanted both of these features, the great increase in quality and performance far outweighs the value of these two missing items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect nightstand charger I love this charger. It's well worth money given it looks good, is sturdy and heavy, and is easy to connect my phone and watch to - especially in the dark. I love that I now have one (long) cord for a charger that can handle my phone and watch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great device if you have the right case! I purchase two of these in January. I love the design and ability to charge both my phone and watch on one device. I also like the way I can access my phone and watch at my bed side. The only problem I have had is that my expensive protective case did not allow me to charge the phone without removing the case and I found that to be a real inconvenience. I now have to buy a new case that allows the charger to connect without taking off the case. The second one I bought was for my daughter and her phone fits on the connector without removing the case so those cases are out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Belkin Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch + iPhone At $129.95 it is not a cheap dock and some of you might think it’s expensive but with this premium finishing and an Apple-like design, it’s worth it. Using aluminum and metal make its weight around 630g (1.4lbs) and this is, for me, a problem. Every time you want to disconnect your iPhone with one hand the Belkin Valet comes with the iPhone. I would be more practical if Belkin had added some lead weights in the body of the Valet™ Charge Dock in order to keep it on the nightstand when disconnecting an iPhone. The other negative point is that you can’t put your Apple Watch sideway to use it as a bedside clock with the Nightstand Mode. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't Charge iPhone XS/XS Max I bought this a week ago expecting to be able to charge my Apple Watch and my iPhone XS max and it won't charge my iPhone XS max. Tried it with another iPhone XS max as well as a iPhone XS and again it did not charge either of those. I went to apple and they updated the phone and told me to try again and it did not work still. It charges iPhone 6s,7s, and 8s. No problem so I assumed it would charge the new iPhones just fine as they haven't changed the charging port but I was wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not too happy I purchased this a few months ago. I then upgraded my phone to the 7plus. I was told by apple that it was compatible. I spoke with Belkin who stated that it is not compatible. So I had to give it away to someone who has a 6s plus. Prior to all of this the phone side of the charger stopped working. Of course I cant find the receipt and neither can Apple. Sucks!!!

After researching many products and pricing, I decided to order this from the Belkin website. He loves it!!!! It's sleek and everything fits perfectly on it. The pricing was less that it was on any other site too.
