Designed with a 110-220-VAC power supply, the Black Box® Async RS232 Extender Over Fiber can transmit data continuously. It features the option to switch from a DTE mode to a DCE mode without adding another device or any extra cables.

The Black Box ST/DB25 fiber driver is an efficient alternative to copper wiring when building automated systems that require multiple computers to communicate with each other. Alter its range as needed to compensate for power fluctuations. The device supports bidirectional transmission and can send and receive signals as needed. Send data at speeds of up to 76.8 kbps using the Black Box short haul modem to make automated systems fast and efficient. The driver can transmit from as far as 4 km, allowing plenty of space between points while still allowing effective communication between them.
