Rated 5 out of 5 byMAA from Does Not Convert DVI to VGAThe application was to be able to use one of the dual DVI outputs from a new computer to supply video output to a projector which only accepts VGA or RCA input. It does not work. There must be a signal converter used to change it from Digital to Analog. This information needs to be included with the product information. So that shoppers do not assume it will work without the converter.

We reused the original analog flat screens along with new DVI based wide screens. the adapters let us connect the old analog monitors to the Y cable supplied with the desktops to create a dual screen environment.
