Engineered to be compatible with your Apple system, Crucial Memory for Mac takes the guesswork out of a memory upgrade. Since Apple systems often have very specific memory requirements, including particular component densities, speeds, and SPD programming specifications, it's important to buy your memory from people who know Apple computers inside and out. With over a decade of experience manufacturing and developing memory for Apple systems, Crucial makes it easy to find memory that's been designed specifically for your system.

If you're an Apple computer user, you probably expect intuitive, reliable performance from your system. Crucial thinks memory should work the same way, too. For each module it manufactures, Crucial sends it through a rigorous testing process to ensure that you're getting a reliable, high-performance memory solution. Every module that leaves the doors has been extensively tested at the component level for voltage and temperature resistances, signal integrity, and software compatibility

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made iMac like new again. After the installation of OS X High Sierra, the system got somewhat slower and the number of applications opened at one time had to be reduced. Installed the new RAM in the 2 remaining slots, giving the computer a total of 20 Gigs of RAM. Started the system and checked it out for performance and speed. What an improvement!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It made a big differenceI tripled my RAM in my 2010 iMac and it made a big difference. The RAM that I purchased from Crucial arrived in a few days an was easy to install. The online chat help desk was quickly able to determine that I had installed the memory correctly in the proper memory banks and in the proper order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! No issues at all, but unfortunately if you have a slow CPU in your laptop it is most likely going to be your next bottleneck... Perhaps if you need more RAM you should look into either a desktop or a much more powerful laptop with an option for more RAM.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works in 27" iMac mid-2011Crucial says to install CT3757637, but this kit worked in my iMac just fine, it has all the same specs. Big improvement in speed over the 4GB that was in there originally. No more spinning beachball, things snap right open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every pennyI own a iMac mid 2011. It was beginning to be unusable because of how slow it was. Click on an icon and sit there and wait 30 seconds for it to load. I did some research and figured out I needed to add more RAM to the computer. It only had 4GB when I bought it. I installed the new RAM with no problem at all and booted the computer up. It runs like its brand new. Very fast. Thanks to Crucial for the fast delivery and installation instructions. You saved me money not having to buy a new computer.
