Rated 5 out of 5 by from Total JunkDo not buy. Total junk. I had a very simple set up. Two monitors one hdmi, one vga, wireless keyboard/mouse, connected to my XPS 13. Got my monitors set up and aligned. Station worked out of box just fine for 2.5hrs. Then BOOM...power goes out. I check power source going into the Docking station, all good, power coming out of Station DEAD! Dell is ZERO helpful tech support. JUNK Docking Station. Don't waste your money, time or effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very disappointing productWe ordered 6 TB16 dock because the dock we normally order was out of stock, and we had to meet a delivery deadline. What we did know at the time is the TB16 is not compatible with the Latitude 5480 laptop. The WD15 has an identical USB-C connector so there is no physical indication that the two units are incompatible. The unit will not work with the Latitude 5480 with out the purchase of an addition Thunderbolt chip for the laptop. I am very disappointed that the TB16 is not backwards compatible with the USB-C standard, considering that they use the same connector,, and I am puzzled why Dell doesn't maintain compatibility between it's laptops and docks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the XPS line computers! We have deployed over 20 of these docks so far and have had only one issue in the beginning. This was fixed by a BIOS update and removing the fast start up setting in Windows 10. We love the fact is works great with our 4k displays and the one cable solution for the Dell XPS laptops is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dell TB16 Thunderbolt DockThis Dock is in my opinion a piece of junk. After following all the recommended installation guidelines and performing all the requisite updates on my Dell XPS, I connected the dock. All the drivers loaded but upon connecting an external monitor all the monitors would flash and eventually the one connected to the TB16 dock would go away. Only a restart would bring it back. After spending many hours trying to make this work, I finally returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good dockPro: This is a good dock for any USB 3.1 Thunderbolt capable machine. Never have had any issues with it not connecting correctly.Cons: The USB C cable that is attached is short so when your machines thunderbolt connection is on the left of the machine you have to place the dock directly behind it in order to connect it without putting too much strain on the cable. All in all the dock is a great dock. If you are looking for a USB-C Thunderbolt dock that charges your laptop this is a great choice.
