I bought several 3rd party ink and after an auto firmware update, the cartridges suddenly were not recognized, even though they only had -15 pages on them. What did Epson tell me? Buy our ink. Went on FB Marketplace the next day and I bough a laser jet.

Setup instructions and wizards are easy to complete. I recommend this printer for anyone demanding high quality output at a reasonable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful with paper quality and ADF use ADF is very sensitive regarding paper size and weight. It does not take much a of variance from 8 1/2 or a less than 20 lb. bond weight to cause a paper jam. Instructions and options for saving scans to a computer are not particularly clear.

I had one paper jam, which was my fault, but it was very difficult to correct and get the paper cleared. It also holds papers printed instead of letting them fall over the floor with a too small of a paper catcher. I recommend this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changing the cartridge for the first time. Changing cartridge was very easy. I have a Brother WF2860 and at first I could not figure out how to get to the cartridge. On the top at the middle front there is is latch that I had to lift then grip each side to pull and open to reach the cartridge. Remove the cartridge and then you need to press down on the unit just behind the front and remove the actural cartridge, Make sure you clean the wires they mention. Put it back in the printer and your ready to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Printer Satisfaction It's small so it fits where I need it. Yet, it puts out quality prints. I'm enjoying my new printer. The down side is the cartridges are small, too. I'll be needing to reorder more often. Weighing the pros and cons...I'll keep the printer!

There also doesn’t seem to be any way to use the black and white ink separately from the color. So, we’ve already had to replace the entire ink cartridge once and have only owner the printer for just over a month. Other than that, it’s great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo disappointed!! Within one month of setting up printer and maybe printing one or two pages per day, the low ink notifications came on for ALL OF THE CARTRIDGES. I bought a new cartridge-black. I have not bought the color ones. Something here stinks!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and functional I use this in my home office mostly for scanning and printing out the odd letter. For the price it was nice to get a scanner with a document feeder. It can handle about a dozen pages at a time, which is fine for the workload that I have. The scanning is also reasonably fast. The wireless functionality works well too. I can select to send the scans to any of the several different PCs that I have throughout my home, which means my son and wife like using it as well. It even has a fax function, which by this point in the 21st century is a tad obsolete. Only complaint is the print quality is only average, specifically the ink intensity. The resolution is fine, but the relative lightness of the printing makes the output look cheap. This is OK for personal correspondence but if your intended recipient is a professional business I'd consider a cheap laser printer.

Was told that it was a wear issue - impossible and it will cost $88 to fix to replace the defective part. This will be my last ever Dell product.

I especially needed a scanner function since I get a lot of paper receipts and correspondence that I need to store as PDFs. The printer has a feed tray so you can do about 12 pages at a time, and it is smart enough to scan it as a single file so you don't have to join multiple ones together. It also can send them wirelessly to any PC on your wireless network or to the cloud, which removes the need for USB drives or SD cards that are plugged directly into the unit as storage. The print quality is fine for correspondence, although the colors could be a little more vibrant. The feed tray can be sensitive to any documents that are not absolutely flat. The cartridges last a reasonable time. But for a small business this has a good price/performance ratio.

The printer has a scanner issue, I contacted customer service, their response was to send me the self help information that was already included with the printer. I cannot get a hold of customer service. The printer works fine. I am giving them 2 stars because of the scanner issues, and poor customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink replacement I have had this printer less than a year and going to replace. Printing is good it is replacing the ink cartridges. I just replace the black ink and all the color cartridges were fine, now the black is showing low and all the color cartridge as well, now remind you I just change the black cartridge. This happens all the time even replacing the color cartridges. Done with the Epson
