More Memory is ALWAYS better...
Although not cheap...the Lenovo team did discount this memory quite a bit. I used the Lenovo Tech video on "how to" replace the memory in my P51. It went really well. Step by step. No unexpected troubles. When I powered back up and checked "My Computer" details, there it was...64 GB of DDR4 memory. My machine was not slow before. But now I wait for nothing! This P51 will be with me a long long time! I'm really happy I decided to update!

The + 16G in my P52, tot 32G, amazing difference!
I have been buying Thinkpads/Lenovo for 23 years. From previous experience when on one occasion I bought after market extra memory, had nothing but problems despite seller guaranteeing total compatibility without problems. Did I save money, NO, did I have a ton of problems, YES! From then on, I only bought memory either with my laptop and or ONLY from Lenovo!
