Rated 5 out of 5 by from Led Lights Failing after one year NOT worth it the cost. The led lights are failing on some of the keys. Some do not light up at all. I have had this keyboard just over a year. Manufacturer Warranty is for one year. I bought the K500 keyboard when I bought my Legion laptop in 03/2023. I only use the keyboard with the laptop when at my work station.

I haven't figured out how to quickly change between profiles but it's not the end of the world. The main reason I took a star off was because the wrist rest is just textured hard plastic. I wish they just covered it in some foam-backed fabric or vinyl.

The RGB and settings to control it make it a breeze to use in the night. Special dedicated hotkeys makes the task easier. The RGB is nice and allows for nice amount of customization. I would say this is one of the best keyboards I’ve owned so far.

My roommate uses a mechanical keyboard and it when he’s using it you can hear the dang thing all the way on the other side of the house. I was pleasantly surprised how muted the keys are in comparison, without losing a mechanical keyboard comfortable tactile feel.

The key switches are indeed reds and are so satisfying to type on. The RGB light is perfect in my opinion. Not too bright and the software to adjust it is very lite weight. Overall I am extremely pleased with this keyboard.

I went from an older Logitech Corded Wave to this and it's nice to come back to a mechanical keyboard feel. I do sort of wish it did have a bit of the ergo curve to it, but I knew what I was getting into with this one. I rarely use the lighting features of this keyboard, but so far they seem to work fairly well and the software is easy to use. The media keys are nice, but I do sort of wish there was an extra customizable key for something like the calculator like on my old keyboard, but that's a minor inconvenience.

The sound and smoothness of each click makes you feel like you're typing 1,000 words per minute. Gaming wise the keyboard is great as well. Nice finish and good ergonomics, this keyboard has all of the features you can expect in this price range in a beautiful style. The only issue I would give this keyboard is the cord angle. While aesthetically pleasing, for those right handed, the cord takes the long way off the back of the desk.

Would be 5 stars if the customization was actually customizable.

It performs well and feels awesome to type on as well as playing games, gives extremely good feedback. I was looking for a mechanical that had great feel but at my work I did not want to loud of a keyboard. I had to keep it at a decent price point which was part of the reason for purchasing this one. After I got mine and test drove it my boss also requested I order one for him. Very responsive lighting is a nice touch but I couldn't care if it was there I was more concerned with macros and keyboard feel.

Switches are linear, so don’t expect that tactile bump, but they’re still satisfying enough without being too loud or bothersome. Great for gaming, decent for typing. The software for the rgb is pretty straightforward, but something good to know is you cannot program different colors for individual keys at the same time beyond the 8 or so presets. All in all, it’s a solid keyboard, if you can snag it for below msrp.

However buyer beware, the images you see online are not representitive of the actual product. Specifically, the backlights on the keyboard do not light up the key uniformly. All lights are aligned to the topo of the key, which means that keys with two symbols (i.e., the [{,]},1!, 2@,3# etc.) only the top symbol lights up. This is most noticeable on the number keys at the top, which you can easily see the special characters, but not the numbers themselves... Otherwise a great keyboard.

The key strokes are so poor that it is hard to type, not mechanical and still not silent and there is no separation between a click registered vs unregistered. After using logitech/razer/microsoft/hp keyboards I decided to buy this Lenovo gaming keyboard but I am utterly disappointed by it :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for buck solid keyboard Fast shipping, arrived in 2 days. Keyboard is simple but good looking in design. RGB and palm rest are a bonus. Red mechanical keyboard is comfortable for both work/typing and gaming over long periods due to the smoothness of the keys, although doesn't have the satisfaction of the click from something tactile like a blue key. The price point is exceptional, nothing really to complain about.

This keyboard has several cons though -Very heavy, although feels very sturdy at least. -RGB Lighting is very dim -The software to customize the keybaord compared to logitech or Razer is very barebones -I have a Legion laptop and there is no way to sync the Keyboard and Laptop lighting. How is that not a thing? Come on lenovo, one of the reasons I specifically bought this keyboard was in hopes of sinking the RGB lights. Overall my first Lenovo product ive been disappointed with For a keybaord that goes on sale for as low as 60$ shouldn't expect to much I guess.

But, since it's keys are very sensitive — in a sense that even if you push the key like 25% in, it will sense the input — it can be sometimes grueling and takes some time to get accustomed to. Other than this, I don't see any drawbacks, it is an excellent keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+ Although I am not a computer gamer (I prefer PS4 and Nintendo, I have been on the hunt for a quality mechanical keyboard. This is my first one, but let me tell you, I LOVE it! I can't imagine going back to a standard keyboard now. It took a few days to get used to it, but it is awesome and easy to use now. It can be clickity and loud when I really get going, but overall this thing is a pleasure to use daily for work. The variety of colored light features are a major perk as well.

I can game or work from my PC without waking everyone in the household. Also, the size of the keys and the width of the keyboard is very comfortable.

It takes a lot of less force to press the keyboard than other mechanical keyboards. The sound of this keyboard isn't as loud as the tactical ones (it might be a plus for some, or it might not be for others)

Very much like a favorite pen that you always use and obsessively click (for me its the Zebra F301). Quite sturdy build and heavier than any other keyboard Ive owned. Ill never us a factory board or mouse again.

The feel of the keys is definitely more sensitive than your typical keyboard; however, after adjusting to the feel, it becomes much easier to type and the fingers move in a more fluid way. Less impact and noise. Sounds like cinema soundeffects for keyboard typing. Very quiet. Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I hoped to find Looking to replace my former Lenovo keyboard with 10-key, of which the orientation nubs were warn off of the J and mostly the F keys, I was pleased to find what has proven to a big improvement. It's sturdy, the keys are refreshingly tactile, and the palm rest also sturdy and easy to keep clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gaming Keyboard This was bought with a tower I ordered, and it wasn't quite what I was expecting but still works great. The keys are mechanical and don't click, but have a sort of clack that is smooth and satisfying. I use it for gaming and the shape and size is perfect. Very similar to a razer huntsman. Now the downside. The software for customizing the lights is not what it could be. You can't do all that much. Choose from select patterns. And if you choose the per key customization you can only have one color on the entire keyboard. But does function well, and braided cable is a nice touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboards Have evolved since 2000 I bought this keyboard for nearly $70. Big mistake. I’ve been using laptops as my school and work computers for the last 13 years. My gaming laptop had rgb and I thought it’d be nice if the laptop for my new desktop would have it too. Perhaps I’ve become too accustomed to typing on laptops but when I plugged the keyboard in and tried it out, it was just horrible. The keys stick half an inch out, my fingers get in the way of other keys and the whole thing is way too loud. I tried to adapt but the loudness of the keyboard soured me on keeping it. I found a nice and flat keyboard on Amazon that’s also very silent AND lights up, though admittedly not as beautiful as the RGB on this keyboard.

It comes with plenty of preset lighting demos, so there is something for everyone from slow and wavey, to the fast and poppy. I love that every time I boot up my PC or bring it back from sleep mode I get a mini show of several of the light demos. The fact that this is all customizable is just icing on the cake for me, but definitely scratches a long time itch for those who are wanting to dial in a custom setting for their own look and feel. The mechanical nature of the keyboard means that each keystroke click is louder than what you are going to get from a cheaper board, but that is something most people desire from mechanical keyboards. This was an all around good buy that checks all the boxes. Other boards with similar setups are easily 2x the cost, and while everyone wishes they could get something for less, this board at least doesn't leave anything out as a compromise just to reach a lower pricepoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pass on this one and look into a Keychron. If I had paid full price for this I would have been annoyed. I had soem rewards credit and it was discounted and I was looking for a 100% mechanical keyboard anyway. So I'm going to review this as a comparable mechanical keyboard. The official full price of this keyboard is $109.99. For that price I would expect it to be hot-swappable, with a USBC-attached cord and VIA/GMK firmware... and maybe even Bluetooth/2.4 GHz support. It has none of those things. It does have mechanical switches and accepts Cherry-MX keycaps, so it's maybe comparable to an entry level mechanical. It also requires Windows to customize the lighting and macros. And the looks and huge bezels are a decade out of date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great keyboard So far it appears to be a great keyboard. Quality materials and excellent mechanical sounds when typing. Also comes with a detachable palm rest which works well for me, though if you don’t want it, it’s super simple to take off and doesn’t come preinstalled on the keyboard. RGB is good, quite simple but still good. It does unfortunately require an app to be able to change it (which is provided in the manual that comes with said keyboard), but for someone like me who already has all Legion stuff (laptop, mouse, etc) it works fine for me. Overall great keyboard

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Keyboard with a small quirk This keyboard works great and I have been pretty happy with it. The only problem I have had is it is VERY sensitive. Sometimes just resting my fingers on a key and barely pressing will end up entering characters. It is very silent for a mechanical keyboard as well - normally there is much more click but this is relatively quiet. Overall I am pleased with it, I just need to get used to the way it works.
