My wife who has advanced Dementia watched this TV many times a day,every day, and it had to be replaced. It failed around Thanksgiving , and I had to go on-line to find this size LG TV. Arrived in 2-3 days and was easy to set up with our Cable Service. Works great !

Before the white TV arrived, I found an identical model in black at a national retailer. I am returning the unopened white TV for a refund. I don't want the TV to be the focal point in the room. All was good until I bought Paramount + and found out that the Operating System on my tv won't play it. Paramount and HBO require OS 4.0 and higher and mine is at 3.98,,,, I could just get a Roku, but isn't the point of having a smart tv that you don't need it? sigh

Our old picture tube television we used in the kitchen just wasn't cutting it anymore; cropped picture format, incompatibility with the new digital transmission signals, and poor picture quality compared to improved HD pixel displays available today. Our new LG 24LJ4540-WU has a far superior picture quality, compatibility with the digital HD satellite feeds, weighs much less than the old 24 1/2 lbs.and fits perfectly on it's pedestal stand on the countertop beneath the kitchen cabinets. We cook at home a lot so it's the ideal television for our kitchen viewing! We own another LG television, washer and dryer, and refrigerator; trouble free and very happy with all of them!

Having to run an extension cord in order to be able to power a Roku stick is annoying plus having the stick powered on all the time shortens its life.

When I got it delivered I was surprised at how light it was, how the TV fit into the stand with no tools or assembly. To put it another way, set up, install was really easy. It was so easy I did not need help. Then I turned it on. Programming and set up with the remote was a breeze. I'm thrilled that I bought this TV. It's excellent and a great price and exactly what I needed.

Perfect screen size for me but the colors look cartoonish, the screen cannot be turned or tilted, and sound quality is low. Sadly LG is one of the few brands that offers this size. And it’s not a smart tv.

I chose it because of its dimensions -- it had to fit in a cabinet -- and because of LG's reputation for quality. I was a little skeptical of the low DC voltage power supply, which means there are additional electrical components inside that are necessary to get the higher-voltage AC that is needed. The picture quality is excellent, far better than the one it replaced. There is little lost vertical space outside the screen due to the low profile mounting stand, which was important to this installation. If the extra electrical circuitry holds up over time, I'll be completely satisfied.

It needed to fit on a corner cabinet and the reviews gave me reason to think it was a quality product. It was delivered to my door and I pleased to discover I could carry the box to my kitchen and set it in place with no difficulty. Then I followed directions to set it up with my DISH tv and I had a perfect picture. I was so pleased with the product that six months later I bought a 55" set for my den. Both are just what I had hoped they would be.

The set-up was easy and the set interfaced with my satellite service seamlessly, so that I can use the satellite remote for tv function. The picture definition is good. However, I have not quite found the best picture color/contrast combination and I cannot get the picture full screen.

The first brand I looked for was LG, because almost every electronic item we've purchased in recent years has coincidently been that brand, and luckily they had this one that fits perfectly. I'm hoping it runs well for quite a while because it looks like it's being discontinued and finding a TV smaller than 32 inches wasn't easy! Super easy to set up, price was right, but as for quality, I'm only giving it 4 stars because we haven't had it long enough to rate it higher.

The bad- The volume has to be all the way up to hear it, not good for a brand new tv. There are no control buttons on the tv, you have to rely on the remote only. if you drop it and it breaks or fails with old age, you are out of luck. The ugly- my tv failed after 6 months even though it is still under new product warranty getting a good FEDEX shipping code to return has been a miserable experience

I'm disappointed that it doesn't have analog or any other audio output to be able to connect to another sound system. It only has an HDMI input.... and only one of those! It also takes quite some time to search for channels... once it is up and running it is OK...just OK.

It isn't any better that our 15 year old TV that we replaced. The sound absolutely doesn't work properly and we haven't been able to get it adjusted. The only sound that is affected by the volume button is the very annoying womans voice that tells us what the volume number is. The programming sound is never changed. We are very disappointed with this TV and feel it may have been a rebuilt set which was not disclosed.

It only has one HDMI port and a cable port, so this TV has limited applications. It fit the bill for our needs. Purchased this TV with a white frame to match the decor of the room. My husband is having medical issues so I needed to bring the TV in the house, open the box, bring it upstairs & put it on a hanging shelf. It's extremely light & easy to handle. Setting it up, i.e. scanning the stations was a breeze & totally automatic. I am very pleased with the price, the light weight & the ease of set-up. I would have preferred an HD TV like I had before, but this one has all kinds of neat settings for picture and sound that my other one didn't have. The major drawback was that it is not Amazon Firestick compatible, so I had to add channels to my cable company.

The robotic voice instructions built into the unit are a laugh!!! It talks too fast in a robotic voice that is almost impossible to understand. Totally useless. You will need a digital cable box to be happy. The channel selection feature, digital to analog not using a converter box is cumbersome. Could be better designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG makes long-lasting products Just bought this small LED for a bedroom to replace our last tube/CRT TV. Very easy to set up (automated voice first time set up, and solid image/sound setting features. The sound is a little weak (coming from the back of the TV), but can be adjusted to sound more "full". The only drawback: on this basic model, there are no other connections than ONE HDMI. There is no audio outlet to plug in a soundbar, and you will need to buy an HDMI HUB to connect a DVD player if you already have a cable box plugged in. But for the value and the price, it is understandable. This TV is made for small spaces and basic use. Great quality.

We would buy another LG when the time comes for our main Tv to be replaced.

My wonderful step-son bought it for me for my birthday. I have never enjoyed a TV more then this one. This will not be my last LG television. All my TV purchases in the future will be LG.

It’s the perfect size for our kitchen; light and easy to move around; uncomplicated to set up and connect to our Comcast cable; sharp and clear pictures like our new 65 inch OLED family room TV; nice addition to our LG family TVs. Son works in the Silicon Valley’s High tech industry and said ‘great choice’ and loves it to replace our very old tv. It’s a great TV to watch from while eating and bonding with family and friends who visit us. The price is great from Amazon and it shipped quickly. Family lives this new LG addition.

You have complete control of this TV with the very easy to use remote control. If you are looking for a TV of this size (24") I would recommend it you for consideration. You will not be disappointed on it;s performance.

Have not tied to set up our year old VCR yet but I hope that will go well also. The only problem I had was we lost the wireless set-up one day, not sure if we did it or there was some other problem. Setting it back up was not an issue however.

I chose the 24" LG due to the reputation of LG as a manufacturer of quality goods, and its reasonable price. Installation was a snap and the performance has been excellent. A nice selection of adjustments to picture and sound.

IM SURE YOU could get a connection for cable but it's an hdmi compliant TV so I wanted to get in to that part. Taken my time and just assuming the LG 24" is plug and play with all the setting to connect the devices. Another thing it excellent cinema so I don't want to give up.
