Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Detail and Color I purchased this monitor to use as an extra monitor for working remotely. The color and detail is clear and the 27" makes it much easier on the eyes when working on the computer more than 10 hours a day. I would have given it a 5 if I could adjust the monitor up and down from the base but structurally it was not made possible. Great price for the quality.

I purchased the LG 24MP59G-P because it had a display port connection, not found on most inexpensive computers. When I got it connected, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture. I would not hesitate to use this monitor as my primary monitor with my main computer.

Don't get me wrong its a good second monitor for web browsing and reading. would not use this as my main gaming monitor.

When I purchased the moniter it was advertised as having a 3 year parts & labor warranty. 2 years latter the monitor stop allowing HDCP. It also started to overheat while gaming causing it to flicker on and off. When I went to have it repaired LG told me it only had a 1 year warranty and that it was now out of warranty and I would have to pay for any reapers! I will never buy another LG product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over priced poor quality Price was higher than other bands for the same specs. After using a few times I've noticed that it displayed flickering Horizontal lines. I had to recycle the power to make it stop doing that. I'm an LG fan but this monitor had disappointed me. Now I'm skeptical about LG monitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but it had a small defect. The positive: I bought this a few weeks ago and it has been great. Packaging was good and it was easy to set up. The quality and color have been awesome, as well as the features. I was surprised with the options, such as Sharpening the image (which is really good) and a crosshair you can put on the middle of your screen for FPS games, which I thought was hilarious. The two HDMI ports are great and super important for me, and you can switch between inputs like a TV. It's a button type think on the bottom frame that can navigate the menu, and it's really easy to use. The negative: Mine has a small defect on the right edge of the screen, as you can see in the picture focusing more on it, and the one with the entire screen. It seems more prominent than it is, but it's only pretty noticeable when the screen is turned on and is very dark. I would have returned/got it repaired? and got a new one, but this is first monitor I bought in 6 years since I just got a new PC, so I can't really wait a week without a screen :/. All in all, really great screen for the price, especially since it's Freesync. I don't think it warrants 4 stars for a defect, so I'll stick with 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Glitch I've this monitor for a few months now. I like it a lot. The picture is sharp and the colors are good. It's pretty much what I expected except for one problem. Two or three times a day the monitor just blanks out for about 2 seconds and then comes back. Used the LG web site to report the issue. Received a confirmation email but no solution after three weeks. LG support seems to be a little week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy for the price! I was looking to get a new desktop PC for work and gaming along with a new monitor. After doing some research I came up on the LG 24MP59G-P. Considering the price and specs it’s probably one of the best montorors for the value. Main Pros: - Amazing price, affordable considering the specs (Especially; AMD Freesync, 75 Hz - Very easy installation and controls - Modern and easy to use monitor driver - Clean design and great build quality - Great at handling any game or work requiring good visuals Cons: - I’m just being a bit picky, but a built in speaker would be the cherry on top. - None really! Overall, it’s amazing for the price and is probably one of the best valued monitors I’ve seen or bought. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good priced and well build monitor. 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor! Nice vivid colors. I do photo editing, and this is a great monitor for a decent price. The driver file, however, needs to be updated for the next release of Windows 10. Using the driver causes the monitor to darken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible panel and quality but colors are good The panel and quality of product is terrible alongside with support and quality control check. On other side colors are really great and vivid and it's cheaper than competitors. Pros: Color reproductions is really good, it has vivid colors and crystal bright and clear colors. The panel has a bit bluish icy color when you look from distance and compared to other monitor, but you can adjust colors and get nice colors for photography work. Also monitor is pretty cheap, it's much cheaper compared to competitors and other monitors in this range. And this is the only reason i give it 2 stars, otherwise it would be 1. Cons: The panel is really terrible quality and their quality control check is like either don't exists or they just dumped in my country ones that don't pass control check. Their support is not valued either. I have monitor for 3 weeks and this is second one. First one when arrived immediately had terrible backlight bleed. I know backlight bleed is something normal on ips monitors, i have 2 other brands of ips. But this one had so terrible that it looks like orange light sabre is bursting out from one angle all to the middle of the screen and it was visible all the time. When i rma it support told it's normal, its in standards, nothing for rma. Luckily since it's day 1 rma i got replacement from the store. Second one that i received also have backlight bleed, it's there it's visible on darker colors but it's not so bad so i didn't complain. But this makes colors washed out on edges of screen if you use brightness over 60%. But after 20 days panel got 3 dead pixels appeared. And they say this is not for rma. Neutral: These are the things i should mention but don't bother me or maybe you. Panel doesn't look like it's ips, it more looks like it's tft. Pixels looks like from tft monitors and sometimes on 75hz is more visible, you can see lines on blue or orange colors. This can be adjusted with sharpness or switch to 60hz. There is no vesa mount, and monitor stand is a little bit shaky, so if your table is not firm enough monitor can shake sometimes. If it happens that you don't suffer like me with bad quality this can be great monitor for photo editing as it have really good colors. On images, on left it's my old monitor on right you can see this LG model. This is second one without terrible backlight bleed, so you can understand how it was on first i got replaced.

I have yet to learn the details about adjustment options, but am pleased already. The purchase, delivery and price were easy, timely and a bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good screen however... The stand feels very shaky despite tightening the screws. And worst of all, the screen displays a bit of static disturbance even though my case is fully shielded. It happens 3 times in 1 month and I isolated it down to the Response Time feature built into the screen, changing it to off removes the artifacts. Or turning off and on removed it as well. Using High response does cause ghosting in some games. Other than that I would had given 4.5 stars if there were no response time and screen stand issues as it’s a good 1080p 75hz panel otherwise

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Great Monitor Bought this monitor a few weeks ago; it’s been great! I work from home, sonit doubles as a second monitor for my work computer. Picture is great, And the split screen features are fantastic for work. The only negatives are that it doesn’t tilt and doesn’t have mounting capability; I really would’ve liked to mount t on an articulating arm. Overall, I have no real complaints with its performance.

It's a great gaming monitor for people who want to play adventure/action game offline AND fps/shooter online. Pros: - image quality - colors contrast are amazing -75hz is incredible Con: (personally it's a con because I transport a lot my monitor but for other, it's probably an advantage) - the monitor is very slim, so I feel that I can break the screen at any moment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG 27MP59G-P REVIEW This monitor was actually a Santa delivered surprise 12/25/2017( I believe he must have seen me reading about this monitor.) Taking the monitor out of the box, I was really impressed on the packing and on the construction . All the seams around the screen were tight, the screen was well protected and upon set up and first time turned on, I was thoroughly impressed with this monitor. I found no dead pixels and the screen color was not that bad however with a bit of tinkering I had things looking the way I really liked. In regards to this you have a ton of options to tweak this monitor to your liking. I recommend setting a little bit of time aside and have your favorite beverage close by ( coffee for me ) and enjoy the many controls at your fingertip. Speaking of control and fingertip, this was the first time I ever used this small "joystick" located at the bottom of the screen that you use to select the different menus to adjust the picture and I found it the easiest and quickest to use than any other monitor I have owned. I was a real time pilot and am now attracted to a few flight sims of which I use this monitor with. The picture quality at 1920x1080 is splendid and I was so happy to find that textures and print did not appear pixellated by any means with this resolution on a 27 inch monitor. After tweaking some of the game settings I do not see any ghosting and the response rate and 75 mhz refresh rate is very adequate for what I use this monitor for. I whole heartedly recommend this monitor for anyone wanting to jump into the 27 inch game.

It's really nice although I just barely noticed a picture flaw, not sure if dead pixels in the center from pressure from something but I dingy notice it when sitting a away from it anyways. Wish it had onboard speakers as well. But overall I would purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor customer service When I first got the monitor, it had a minor defect. There is a function that shuts down the monitor after disuse for four hours. But it shut down, even when I was using the computer. Then I found out that, to get this fixed under warranty, I would have to send it to the factory. I did not want to be without my computer for two weeks, so I decided to just live with the defect. In communicating with LG Tech Support, I received an email from them. But the only option given to reply to that email was via chat. If I wanted to send them an email, there was no obvious way to do that. Poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Budget Monitor I bought this a week ago and I have no complains yet. Great color reproduction, it’s pretty bright, and the stand is very solid. The 75hz refresh rate is very good but if you’re looking for a real gaming experience you should get a 144hz monitor because the difference is noticeable. Other than that, it will be perfect for literally anything else.
