Rated 5 out of 5 by from Short life span and terrible support At it's core, this monitor is really nice. The color presence is impressive. HOWEVER, there are multiple reports of the ribbon cables in this monitor burning out, causing "Lines" in the screen. The worst part about all this is now you have to try and use the GOD AWFUL support from LG. I have submitted multiple tickets in regards to this issue, but the support is so senseless, they refuse to help because their support site doesn't actually work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for 3 years, then horizontal lines I loved this monitor, but just barely 3 years after I bought it (July 2, 2019) it suddenly had horizontal lines across the screen. I've contacted LGUSSupport on Facebook and they provided me with phone numbers for local repair shops in GTA Ontario, but all these repair shops told me its going to cost more to repair it than buy a new one (the screen has to be replaced). VERY disappointed at this premium monitor lasting only 3 years. VERY disappointed at the lack of support from LG not owning up to poor craftsmanship post warranty period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great overall Monitor I've had this monitor for just over a year and it is all I ever needed. Good for gaming, but also great for multitasking at work. The refresh rate helps with more than just games, it will give you less strain on your eyes when working long hours. I only had one issue with it, the Display Port socket stopped working after a few months, but LG repaired it under warranty very quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked good graphics and performance I have had this for over a year now and am really pleased with the monitor. I am now spoiled. This thing really kills on racing games like F1 and FPS like Borderlands. Whenever I use my Oculus Shift S I wish the graphics on that device were as sharp as they are on my LG monitor. I tried some racing games in VR - but generally use my LG - the graphics and performance or so much better. I did have an issue with my monitor but LG fixed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Specs Great Specs but the build quality compared to my other 4 LG monitors ultrawide I have this is subpar for the price. The plastic has too much flex and cheap texture feel to them. The screen very close to the edge which is greast when mating 2 or 3 together, but the plastic that surrounds and protects easily bends and flexes causing the screens I bought to have small cracks, maybe use metal instead. The material used to lay screen or glass is very fragile compare to my older LG monitors. The red circle design for the freesync model is useless, only works in gsync version. Great panel but HDR 400 is hardly noticeable at that level but it is a feature. Inputs and outputs has a good amount.

I got this monitor for for Fathers Day 2019 and it worked well out of the box, but after a couple of months I began getting infrequent but increasingly frequent periods where the picture was interrupted by lines. I contacted LG customer support and after providing the necessary info was provided a prepay fedex shipping label (save your boxes kids). I shipped it out on 10-19-19 and had it back, working better than ever (I think the part that was bad was limiting the beauty lol) on 10-25-19. This is a really fast turnaround and as someone who deals with various customer service entities during my work the support agents I spoke to were courteous and helpful. As for the monitor itself its incredible, gsync works great and the resolution over displayport is wonderous. Thank you LG for a great experience all the way around! (side note while this monitor required a repair in my experience this is the exception with LG not the rule, I have an lg ips236 that is 10 years old and works flawlessly, and the 4k in the LR is flawless after almost a year)

You hit a lot out of the park with this model, but the use of older gsync that doesn't work with HDR and doesn't allow for 10 bit color winds a very great panel back to 5 year ago technology. Perhaps this is NV's fault - as the AMD Freesync model does it right, HDR/10bitcolor/Freesync. So many features are spot on that the negatives are truly frustrating.
