Rated 5 out of 5 byDiamond from Touch IDThis case work great since I have a one year old who loves chewing on my phone. The only bad thing is that my Touch ID can't read my fingerprint. I look online and saw that if I take my fingerprint off and put it back on while using the case, should work. I tried that and now it say "try again". this is not really a major issue for me where I would want another case shipped but it was just annoying at first when I first got my case and I couldn't use my fingerprint.

It doesn't add much bulk to the phone, so the design of the phone still holds true to being sleek and thin.That said, the case is a little complicated. I'm not stupid or anything, I just forget to undo the charge port cover before I try to open the case, which makes me feel like I'm going to break it. Another aspect sacrificed, I assume, to render it more protective was the volume/silence switch. Mine will only turn the sound ON, which is horribly inconvenient because I only ever turn it on to watch videos that are sent to me. The rest of the time I want it on silent. That means if I want to watch a video, I have to turn on the sound, watch it, open my case, turn it off, then reapply the case. It's a hassle and kind of ridiculous. I've done some research and many people have a similar problem.Again, it's a nice case and I really like it. I've just learned to not watch videos on my phone anymore. I would recommend this case to anyone and I do truly feel that my phone is safe. The only real complaint was the volume switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJenger from Okay case, but it's wasn't my first choice.I won a LifeProof Fre Power case from one of the monthly Instagram contests LifeProof has, which I absolutely loved! But then my little sister lost my phone during a canoe trip and because she couldn't afford to get me the same case for my new phone, she bought me this one and it's definitely inferior compared to the Fre Power. It feels cheaper and keeps pressing on the screen on its own. I had to take it off during a road trip because it kept pausing, fast forwarding, rewinding, and skipping songs on its own. Siri would also pop up on my screen randomly thinking that I pressed the home button. It just becomes an inconvenience having to take the case off and put it back on every time it malfunctions. It also makes my screen look much dimmer but I don't like the Nüüd case enough to purchase it. When I took the case off the first time to clean it, the door chamber broke off and I had to fix it. It does its job of keeping things out, but I'm not very happy with it. I'm currently saving up for my two month road trip next year, so I can't really spend money on a new case. With that said, I'll most likely be sticking with this one for a while. I should also mention that I did take it on a hiking trip in Pisgah recently and I have no complaints about the quality of the photos it's capable of producing. They still looked nice even with the case on. Thumbs up to that!

Previously i've purchased and used the Nuud for the iphone 5 and 5C. Loved them and love using them down water slides for videos with the kids. This one has been much improved. Less bulk nice clean lines. Easier to access the charge port. Great product. The only negative i can see bothering me in the future would be the charge port opening. It is designed with apple in mind. It fits snUggly to the small size of the lightning plug. If You happen to be out and needing to use a public charge station or a friends knock off charger it may not fit. The case has to come off and it defeats the purpose. All in all Very happy and have always been amazed by the great customer service i've received from the guys/gals at lifeproof! Scott from Canada

Since my car is compatible with apple (it's a VW) the compatible cable was bigger even though it was an original apple cable. Although I still find when you open the charger port it makes it weak at the edge close to the port. I also don't like the area for the finger print being so thin. My last Lifeproof case on that area ripped and became useless. All in all the charger port being bigger is a HUGE PLUS for lifeproof, so thank you lifeproof for hearing our screams. I love it working in my VW car and not being a hassle.

The guy at Verizon highly recommended the life proof case because it came with a glass screen (crucial) for how much my phone costs with no insurance. Buying a life proof case is a one time payment insurance. I've dropped it and slammed it on the ground, accidentally of course.. And nothing but perfection. I've recommended life proof cases to all my friends and wanted to write a review since they have probably saved me almost $1000. An investment you can't beat!!

Rated 5 out of 5 byCass from YESAs soon as I bought my new iPhone, I also bought a life proof in the store with it because I'm not the most graceful person and I've shattered my last phone. Let me tell you, if I hadn't had this case on it, my phone would be done for already. This case is the bed thing. I've dropped it so many times and not one scratch has been put on my phone. I've spilled things on the screen and there is absolutely no damage. I get sad though because my case is white and it got dirty really quick

Rated 5 out of 5 byAdam from Great case but terrible decisionI've had this case for almost three months now. The case is slim and has very great protection. It fits in my hand nicely and the touchscreen responds well. It's one of the better quality cases I have owned. Having said that, I don't think I could recommend it to anyone at this point. The port for charging only accepts the original iPhone 6 cord. There is not a single non-Apple cord that fits. Even the Apple cord that comes with the 32 pin to lightning adapter doesn't fit. This has made the phone extremely limiting in use. My car has a 32 pin adapter to the stereo (no bluetooth). My gym has a 32 pin adapter for the workout machines. If I run out of juice, I have to make sure to have the original cord with me...I can't borrow someone else's 3rd party cord. I was aware of the limitation before I purchased but didn't realize it would be SO limiting and virtually impossible to find any additional cords to use. So until Lifeproof comes out with an adapter or makes a change in their design (not likely) I don't think this case is worth the hassle. There are other cases that provide similar protection without the hassle of the cord fit.

I called Lifeproof and they had me change some settings in my phone, but still every so often I hear the same complaint. I use my cell for work so this is quite problematic. I may be returning in the near future if problem persists.
