For organizations looking to broaden their commitment to Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, or VDI-in-a-Box, the NComputing N-series thin clients for Citrix HDX deliver 100% of the HDX experience at a fraction of the cost of PCs or other thin clients. NComputing next- generation thin clients are optimized for HDX and powered by the Numo 3 system-on-chip, which delivers a high performance client supporting HD video sessions using less than 5 watts of power. With full manageability, support, and at low cost, enterprise organizations can now cost-effectively extend their Citrix deployments to more users, allowing them to gain fuller access to the many benefits of desktop virtualization.

The workhorse of the N-series family of thin clients, the N500, provides the full multimedia capabilities demanded by knowledge workers and in other demanding environments. The N500 incorporates full client-side rendering for the most efficient delivery of multimedia content as well as options for dual monitor and wireless connectivity. Also powered by the Numo 3 SoC, the N500 sets the new standard for price/performance in the thin client market with its rich set of features and capabilities.

NComputing N500 - Cortex-A9 - 1 GB is rated 5.00 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Simply the best low-cost thin client for our VDI-in-a-box environment I've tested. Some higher-end ($700+) units with dedicated graphics processors outperform on video and other heavy multimedia tasks, but nothing in the sub-$500 range even comes close. Rock-solid, easy to configure, and worth every penny twice over. The n500w with wireless - more awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I just completed my test of a demo unit. Once I got through a few issues caused by my Citrix setup everything worked extremely well. I was even able to get UPS WorldShip to run on a dedicated Citrix VPC and the USB scale and printer passed through just fine. The price is good enough that I am buying a few extra just to have for those time we need a temporary workstation somewhere. Good job Ncomputing!
