Until then I would have lived with the glass too small but it is added to my dissatisfaction and humidity is installed between the 2 windows ... and it doesn't go away anymore.... I'm really not satisfied. Quelle déception, elle ne couvre pas la vitre au complet. Jusque-là j’aurais vécu avec la vitre trop petite mais c’est ajouté à mon insatisfaction et de l’humidité c’est installé entre les 2 vitres… et cela ne part plus…. Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfaite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Glass Ive Purchased I have bought 2 different glasses for my phone and each one was so expensive and both had dust under the glass within 2 days. This Otter Box one does have dust but only around the rim! No bubbles, no dust under the glass, and it's very thin compared to the other ones. I hope one day they can make glass for an edge screen that doesn't collect dust, but until then I truly love this one.

I can't say yet that it doesn't work, but installation did not make me feel confident about its ability to stay on my screen. If it works, though, it will definitely be worth it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the worst thing ive purchased for a phone No, it is not "flawless" it absolutely does interfere with your ability to use your phone, from tapping the keyboard, to swiping up and down webpages and across the keyboard if you use Swipe Keyboard like i do. It does not sit flush with the top or bottom of the phone, so it has this weird edge that i hate. But i gotta hand it to em, easiest screen protector I've ever installed, they send you the alcohol wipe, microcloth and a two piece holder to get it on correctly. So that's nice. Overall, i took it out back and hit it with a sledgehammer. Can i have my money back?

The screen protector came off twice, the glue on the tiny part at top and bottom of the screen is not strong to stick it to the hp screen. Screen easily smudging with fingerprints. Visible scratch here and there on the screen caused by just wiping it with a cloth. The quality is not like what i expected, compared to another brand of tampered glass that i used on my iPhoneX.

But but half the screen, where the keyboard is, wouldnt stick to the screen and had an air gap. I had to physically push the alpha glass to make contact and then the phone was confused which letter I was as actually pressing. Reminded me of my LG Voyager from like 2008. Took it off in about 15 minutes of total use. I wish otterbox still made cases with a built in screen protector. They always worked great

The top lip seems to interfere at times when trying to pull down hidden options when running finger down from top edge of screen. No noticeable issues with sensitivity otherwise. Great purchase. Would recommend .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really protects your phone Husband dropped his expensive phone twice. The second time on concrete. The Alpha glass cracked, like it is suppose to, but NO damage to his phone. Ordered another alpha glass protector, received right away, and put it on his phone. May seem a little expensive, but cheap in comparison to a new phone. Very easy to install and no air bubbles and perfectly clear screen. We do have insurance on our phones, but your phone is usually replaced with a refurbished phone and his brand new phone was bought a little over 4 months ago.

I applied the screen Protector switch was easy to do, but now I have a difficult time with the touchscreen. It works, but it is hard to type, and pull down the drop menu. Considering taking it off.

On the other 3 no matter how closely I followed the directions I would always end up with air bubbles. Alpha glass went on smoothly and it is clear (no bubbles) and offers better protection than all the others. Very pleased with this product.

The symmetry box pushes the phone up making it more exposed to being broken, so I bought the Alpha glass (money I was not expecting to spend. The Alpha glass leaves about 1/2 inch on top and 1/8 inch on bottom not covered on the s9+ with Symmetry box. This was a huge waste of money and I have to find a new cover.

Went into the otterbox store and got a different style screen protector which is peeling up after a few days. Great phone cases but I'm not impressed with the screen protectors.

So my mediocre review score comes from the fact that after applying the protector to my phone there is a very small line along the left and right side of the phone, (pretty much just before where the curve starts). Now I can't be certain if this is a normal issue with curved screens and protectors but if it is then I'd give it a 4 star rating, 5 if I didn't have to increase my sensitivity.

The instructions could be printed a little larger. I can't even tell it is on the screen. It is formed to the screen perfectly and stays sealed up, unlike another product that I had previously. The combination of this screen protector and the Defender case is awesome. My phone is protected all around while I am working, and I work in the building trades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping for Application was easy and I followed the instructions provided. Once the cover was on, I had to really hammer on the screen to get it to do anything. I was able to increase the touch sensitivity on the screen, through my settings, which helped, but I find that when typing my phone often doesn't pick up the keys I press on the far edges of the keyboard, like when I try to type an A. I have adapted by proofreading everything and typing very firmly, not ideal and hard to select things on web pages at times. I have had the protector on for about a month now and I am starting to notice that things are sneaking in between the screen and protector, looks like small dust particles or something. It is getting to the point that I am considering removing the screen protector just so I can have a clean screen on my brand new phone again and less frustration while trying to type. I guess I was hoping for more from a $40+ screen protector.

I loved the design of the S8+ screen protector, full coverage, but it was a challenge to get on precise, but once you did, it was wonderful. This one went back to the older designs I guess because of the majority complaints of the difficulty of the S8+/S8 design, it's not bad but isn't complete coverage and leaves a few millimeters of screen exposed at the top and bottom once installed correctly. Tho on the plus side of things they actually include alignment tools in their packaging this time around, made the precise install very easy.

I had pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and was happy the phone and Otterbox with Alpha Glass came on exactly the same day. Alpha Glass is worth ur time if you want complete coverage with quality. I am confident the new phone is well protected and they 2 work well together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good protection but nightmare to use the phone aft Installed mine a good ago, installation is very good and handy with the 2 brackets included. But once you apply the screen cover and enable the extra sensitivity mode the usage of your phone is ruined. Due to my cover I have so much ghosting effect I hate typing on my phone now. Due to the protector the touch pressure you need to apply varies from where you push. The most annoying thing is that the phone now registers a whole lot of spacebar pushes while there are non. I'm a big fan of what otter box does with the cases but this doesn't work as it should.

I've purchased a number bargain priced cases and glass protectors and none work near as well as Otter Fre cases and Alpha glass screen covers. All of my phone controls work as if nothing was added except the protection. The old saying is true; "Buy cheap and but twice!".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mostly awesome I bought this because my previous screen protector cracked within 2 days. I'm a wildland firefighter, so durability is my top priority. I got the Alpha Glass along with the Pursuit case for my Galaxy S9+ It might seem a little pricey, but when you pay over a thousand dollars for a phone, you can't hesitate to spend a hundred on protecting it. The Alpha Glass is good so far. No cracks or scratches, and it's been 2 weeks. My only concern is the dust that keeps getting under the screen protector. I don't know what I'm going to do as far as cleaning it goes, because it's not like I can just get more adhesive. So yeah, that's my only complaint. Otherwise, I'm stoked about my purchase.

I use an otterbox case so I thought that the alpha glass would pair well with it but it didn't. After contacting customer service a couple days into my purchase they wanted me to pay shipping and handling to get a new one because the first one was defective. Don't buy and don't deal with all the hassle.

It also appears to be lifting a bit in the middle of the screen even though I put it on exactly as instructions said to. Not very impressed for the price I paid I expected better.

However, I will no longer be purchasing Glass Screen Protectors. When I ordered mine, it arrived shattered. I understand that shipping mistakes happen, but this is a product that has the sole advertised function of being durable. If the screen protector shattered while being shipped -- while it was protected by plastic, cardboard, bubble-wrap, and paper-packaging -- then I really cannot trust it to protect my phone's screen. 2/5 because it did not fulfill it's advertised purpose, but I have no idea what kind of abuse it endured on the way.

It appears as if the adhesive didn't set and yes, I followed the instructions. My previous Otter Box defender for my previous phone was two halves with the screen protector attached to one of the halves. Waste of $40. I like Otter Box, I have the Defender on my phone, but this screen protector is no good.

Worse, the tiny line of text at the top of my phone that shows time, date, temperature, and battery charge percentage are partly obscured ty the case. Nevertheless, I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend Otterbox to others.

The price I paid was not worth only having it for a month. Only the sides are sticky (which I didn't know before buying it so the middle gets air in it and makes typing really hard. This product is not worth it. I would of been better off buying a $10 one off ebay

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Design I've owned the otterbox defender series for every phone I've had over the past 10 years and loved the case. My phones have always been protected and were never damaged. However, the new defender case for the Samsung 9+, doesn't come with a screen protector. Otterbox sells a separate alpha glass that can be used with the phone, so I purchased same. The alpha glass screen comes with a thin amount of adhesive around the edges. I installed the screen, but a day later I dropped my phone and the screen separated from the phone. The adhesive on the screen protector then got covered with dust and would no longer stick. The good news is Otterbox customer service was great and agreed to send me out a replacement. I'll put the new one on, but don't expect it to last. I'll look for a cheaper alternative that I'll replace periodically. I'm not sure if otterbox couldn't make the defender case with a built in screen protector as with previous models because the curved edge of samsung S9 made it too difficult. The screen definitely needs more adhesive to make a long term difference.

The phone has never been dropped and for 40$ I couldn't believe how bad this product is..I will never waste my money on another screen protector from otterbox. Alpha glass on this phone is terrible. Do not buy it. I took it off within 15 minutes because it reduced the touch sensitivity so much. I was constantly tapping and getting nowhere. If I'm truly being honest, I'd like a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Broke I bought this a few weeks ago and wasn't even able to test whether or not this worked to protect the screen because as soon as I dropped my phone flat on the back, the screen protector shattered making me think my phone's screen had shattered. I was so mad until I remembered I had this on the phone and took it off to see my screen was normal. Plus I had issues with the screen reacting to input even with the sensitivity turned up like the Otter Box reps keep telling customers to do.

It does cover most of the screen, however, for the price I though it would cover the entire screen. It's not noticeable unless its pointed out but the 1/16 inch gap on the top and bottem bothers me. Other than that, it does its job to satisfaction.

I'm not the designer so maybe it was trialed before and just not possible. But overall its awesome and fits the phone better than all the other glasses I've seen. And for those complaining about the sensitivity, TURN YOUR SENSITIVITY SETTING UP! It's common sense that the sensitivity will change some, its what you give up to get the protection. Come on people.

I received the alpha glass in a timely fashion and applied it to my phone following the directions. After using it for a few minutes I realized I had made a mistake in purchasing it. Like other reviewers have mentioned it prevents you from using the edges of your phone and there were tough spots as well. I turned up the screen sensitivity but it still didn't work well. When I attempted to return it to otterbox I found out there was going to be a $5 return fee. Still waiting on my refund!

As you know, once they fall over its a wrap because it's not going to stick properly and all the dust etc... it picked up from falling off. Gotta pay to get a warranty replacement so it's becoming quite an expensive ordeal here.

The defender always delivers and I couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend if you want to keep your phone safe. I also got the alpha glass which was easy to install and works great once you turn your phone sensitivity up.

I got my new Alpha Glas and it was very easy to install it, but after about 10 days the glass got a crack without any idea why because it didn't crashed anywhere. You can see the crack in the added Photo. Please tell me back maybe I can get a new one in form of garanty.

I find it difficult to press numbers, characters, etc with the protector. I have to press hard or several times to get the touch to work.

It applied flawlessly and provides a nice clean look to the phone. Can hardly notice the protector at all. Just make sure to adjust your touch screen settings to increase sensitivity.

The edges and the bottom of the screen took a lot of pressure to get the screen to register the touch. It was impossible to type on using the on screen keyboard because of it. I have used glass screen protectors but on the S9+ the curved screen makes that impossible. The plastic doesn't get close enough to the screen it would seem. The main positive of this kit is the installation tools.. Very easy to use. It went on perfectly.

Its very easy to put on but thats the only good thing about it. I put it on the phone and the buttons along the side wouldnt work at all, and the rest of the buttons/keyboard worked after pressing really hard. After having the glass on for approx 6 hours, it fell off. The thin strip of adhesive around the edge of it wasnt enough to keep it on very long. Also the price for this screen protector on the website is $44.95. I saw a few days ago that this is available at Walmart for $19.96. Not very happy with this purchase.

The defender case edges are slightly wider then the space the glass protection need to stick to the phone. The glass protection just doesn't fit in combination with the defender case. After one day the glass protection fell off and broke. It is worthless.

The biggest improvement is the addition of the installation tools that fit on the on the top and bottom of the phone to assist in placement. Fits well under and with the new pursuit case.

Why otterbox would think a two separate piece case was a good idea is beyond me. The back is still otterbox quality but the money spent for the glass front was money down the drain, it just fell off.

Installation was awesome and very easy with included tools, NO BUBBLES !! , It is also very case friendly as stated fits perfectly for most cases I would say especially the OTTERBOX line of cases I have the Pursuit case and fits it perfectly! I am very happy with this screen protector and the Great lifetime warranty.

Doesn't even cover the S9+ screen top to bottom even though I purchased the S9+ edition. Great if you want to spend all day cleaning the top and bottom bezels from dirt or dust which are left exposed and vulnerable to micro scratches /large scratches by the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great until I dropped my phone I was thrilled with the product the first week, then I dropped my phone and the glass popped off. I immediately picked it up and put it back on. I had read other reviews of this happening so I was being very careful but accidents happen. It has been a week and so far it is still on but not aligned as perfectly and with a few stray particles between the phone and glass cover now. It is very disappointing it happened so soon after initially applying the glass. On a positive note, the cover did not break and the phone glass screen did not break but for the price I would expect the glass to not pop off the first time the phone drops. The screen protector worked well with the Otterbox case I had also purchased to protect my new phone but if it comes off again I don't know if I will purchase it again. It is cost prohibitive to keep replacing just because it won't stay put. Although I had watched the application videos, when I initially went to apply the glass to my phone it took a bit to figure out why one end was different from the other. A little note on the instructions to pay attention to which way the glass was applied (Top vs bottom of Alpha screen) would have been nice for us who have never used a glass screen before.

When I purchased the otterbox for my new phone, I found that they no longer cover the phone completely which I'm not very comfortable with. I try very hard to keep my phone from hitting the ground, but with a hectic life where there is a lot of rushing around it's inevitable. I've added the screen protector, but when I dropped my phone, it flew off. Luckily my screen didn't break, but I really wish that otterbox would have stayed with the full double sided 4 piece case. It may have been overkill, but my old phone still looks brand new.

During the 5-10 days I enjoyed getting to know my new phone. Finally the screen protector (and case) showed up. The screen protector install was easy with the provided install tools. The screen fits very nicely and looks great. However, the major issue I have with this screen protector is the touch sensitivity has been dramatically reduced, especially around the edges. It is very difficult to swipe down to get the menu (takes 3-4 swipes). Before installing the screen protector, I could easily use my phone while it was in my folding desk stand. After installing the screen protector I have had to reposition the folding stand to try and prevent the stand from moving because I have to press so hard to get the screen to respond. I now find my self cursing when I need to interact with phone / applications that require touching near the screen edges. I also find my self having to pick up the phone anytime I need to interact with it instead of being able to leave it in the desk stand. I have used many tempered glass screen protectors on other phones and I have never had such noticeable performance issues that I have with this one. I am struggling to decide if I should just remove the screen protector. I want the protection it provides but it is a struggle to use the phone now, and I hate the idea of just throwing away the money I spent for this screen protector.

The screen protector has a very elegant look, and after changing the sensitivity settings on the phone, it works perfectly...you can't top the Otters!!!

I bought this screen protector about 2 weeks ago and 2-3 days into it being applied it had popped off and i was unable to re apply it to my phone.. when it was applied i also found it hard to press some buttons on my phone even with the screen sesitivity boost option applied. I installed it with the guides and yet this was still the case.

You would have to press the screen extra hard when your typing or swiping. Gave it a week but it just became frustrating to use. Took it off and put it back on the box.

But it takes away from the screen, I had to physically press down on the screen to use it and the top of it finishes just below the top of the screen and with the thickness of it, makes pulling down the menu bar as such nearly impossible. Was on for about 2 hours before I took it off. The commuter case I got with it is perfect though. Just disappointed with the screen protector. If anyone had better results I'd be happy to see, but the protector went on a brand new phone right out of the box and everything was applied as instructed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent I bought mine and it fits perfectly with the Otterbox case I got with it. It was super easy to install as well. On durability I would say it lacks I had my phone in my pocket and the alpha glass to my surprise cracked. Then it was scratched when my dog accidentally stepped on my phone. Even with the increase in sensativity my phone definitely lacks the ability to sense some of the touches on my screen. For the price I'll was just hoping for something a little better. I will probably replace it with something else once I find one that fits my case. I love otterbox cases they are the best. They just need to work on the alpha glass a little more and j am sure it will be good.

I placed it on the face of my phone then attached a different, separate case protection for the back of the phone. Unforunately three weeks later a stray hair managed to get under the front protector of all things irritating..how I do not know...so I had to remove the front protectant, to remove the hair. Their is a very invisible, very thin, silicone adhesive which if you remove the covering at all...will never attach and stay put again. From that point on the covering always slipped off at the most inconvenient times. Until it finally fell off somewhere....I didn,t realize it was gone at all for an hour so even as I texted. I was disappointed at the fact u only receive 1 protectant covering, for the amount u pay there should be a back up. So I am not very impressed with this product. Though at first it did seem to be a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a good product The protective glass went on easily and perfectly aligned and bubble free... however the touch sensitivity on the curved edges was rendered non functional unless you pressed extremely hard. Pulled it off and threw it away after 3 days of frustrating use.

I saw it was on sale and decided to give it a try, and found out there's a touch sensitivity setting for screen protectors for this phone so I turned that on and I've not had any issues since! Love it and love how strong it feels.

While I love the otterbox defender, I do not see why the glass was so expensive only to break while trying to get it to seal. Unfortunately I was forced to order a cheaper option through a different company.

It doesn't fit right it slipped right off, and you have to press hard on the case just to use the phone apps. When I had the Samsung Galaxy s8 plus, it fit better on that phone.

Additionally, you need to be extremely careful not to get anything in between the screen and the screen protector. Additionally, it is not very sensitive. Otterbox should look into finding a way to integrate the screen protector with case.

I have been buying Otter Box cases for many years and once again they fail to disappoint. I read the reviews about the screen touch sensitivity and how it was horrible but ch I have not experienced it at all. It worked just fine even without increasing the sensitivity in settings. Maybe those other customers did not put it on correctly. But I have 3 boys 11, 3, and 1 and my last phone I had for 2 years with the defender case and when I took it off when I got my new phone it still looked brand new not a scratch or crack on it. I am expecting the alpha glass with the defender case to do the same, so far so good.

I just recently applied them to our devices and am thoroughly satisfied, pleased and delighted with the finish, fit, feel and appearance of this product. Additionally, I was very happy and impressed with the simplicity and ease of the application process. Furthermore, I am, so far, completely amazed at the touch responsiveness of the screen and have not found it necessary to increase the sensitivity setting, it seems to work just fine. I am also amazed at the tactile feel of the material, it feels just like the original screen. I have put an "Otterbox Case" on every phone we have ever had and have been a satisfied customer for many years. I use my phone a lot (over 2000 minutes a month in most cases) and they phone looks like new when I am done with it. The only thing better than their cases is the customer service. I have broke the clip in the past getting it hooked on things and they just replace it no questions asked. Unbelievable in the day and age.

The next day I dropped the phone and the glass came off and cracked a bit on the left corner. I tried putting the glass back on but it no longer sticks. Glass is not well made for the S9+.

Unfortunately it's only been 2 weeks and the alpha glass mysteriously cracked while sitting in my pants pocket (with nothing else in it). I've paid less for screen covers that were seemingly more resilient. I'll likely look to another brand for a replacement given the cost/experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from screen responds only to a heavy push i bought one of these and it cracked. so i paid the $4.95 s&h for a replacement, and installed it according to the instructions. at first i found a screen touch along the curved edge was unresponsive. now a direct, firm push on the flat part of the screen is required to the S9+ to recognize it.

Trying to be able to drive down from the top is interfere by the adhesion. And the glass itself doesn't adhere to the phone all the way so it creates spots that are tough to get to react.

Also adjusted the screen touch sensitivity in the advanced settings as recommended and have not had issues using the phone with the Alpha Glass installed. I have been using the phone with the Alpha Glass for about 2 weeks now. Very happy with the purchase as I got it as part of a bundle with an awesome R2D2 star wars symmetry case.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with an OtterBox Defender on it. The Alpha Glass Screen Protector comes with these great little black plastic pieces that you put on the top and bottom of the phone to help make sure you are placing the protector exactly where it needs to be.

This one is my favorite of the ones Ive used, unlike the cheap ones I would buy in bulk that never quite went on right or had thin black bars that went around the screen blocking off a bit of it, this one went on perfect the first attempt and doesnt get in the way of using my phone.

I can't figure out why it cracked as I never dropped it or never hit it with anything. I have always had covers on my phones to protect them as I've seen too many other suffer that fate. I wasn't that happy that Otter Box decided not to make the screen cover part of high end cases they sell for the Galaxy S9+ phones like they did for my previous phones. Hopefully this one last longer than the seven months that this one did as I don't want to keep paying the $50 cost of these screen protectors. If there was a decent alternative available that fit on the phone with the Otter Box case that I have I'd buy that one if this one cracks again.

I didnt even drop my phone when it fell off. I attemptes to reapply it but it only lasted a few days before falling off again. When it last fell off, I dropped my phone but the protector fell off before my phone hit the ground and my phone landed on the protector, breaking it.
