I feel that my phone is actually safe & protected by the 2 part snap in shell AND the surrounding rubber cover. I really like that there are port covers to help protect from dirt/dust & moisture. And the snap in belt clip adds yet another layer of protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 byflpensfan from A little disappointedI have used otterbox cases for all my phones and love them, however the case for the new galaxy s8 not having a screen protector built in like the previous cases for the galaxy s7 was a little shocking to me. I would think that with newer cases that they would get better,or at least stay the same, not go backwards by not protecting the screen.

FYI: I will always use OtterBox.Pro's: rugged, 3-tier protections, easy to useCon's: must buy a separate glass to cover the screen-face.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRelentless from DisappointmentThe whole point of the Defender is FULL device protection, but that's not what you're getting without a screen protector. At the very least there should have been one included in the box. It also should be made more clear that this case does not have a screen protector. There are way better cases, but the whole reason for getting this one was the screen protection as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 byearic from not what i was expectingIt is a small case but no screen protection. If you are not going to make it part of the case the screen protector should come inside of the box. I am an otter box fan for 10 years and this is best and worst defender case at the same time. I might as well get the commuter case cheaper with similar protection.
