I put it on my tablet and recently dropped my iPad against an end table. The fall damaged my Otterbox screen protector but the iPad itself is just fine.It makes the iPad a little bulky but the protection is worth it!I love the stand that is included as well if I want to prop up my iPad to watch a show or even to adjust it while reading to prevent glare, etc..
