The box itself I've had several years. If the belt clip attachment was made of metal instead of plastic, maybe it would last the life of all my phones like all my Defender Boxes do!

You don’t have to be looking at the holster to retrieve your phone or put it safe and securely away. There is only one way to do it , and it can be done in the dark. The “click” tells you your phone is safely secured.

But here is the back t if you accidentally catch it of something or even your cars seatbelt the clip will break off. I’m on my 4th replacement and I hope this slight imperfections is resolved because I love this Otter phone case.

Instead of trying to fool with the warranty. I just ordered a new holster for my XR. I got it and it doesn't fit, it almost fits, but is not tight enough to hold my phone securely. I am very disappointed.

The only thing I didn’t like about the last one for my iPhone XR was that I had to buy a shield for the screen since this case didn’t come with one.

The holster makes it easy to carry my i-Phone around and the holster and the protective covering provide effective protection against drops and damage. When I needed to replace the holster after several years of use, it was very easy to order a replacement from the website. The replacement arrived quickly in well-protected packing, and it was nice to be able to replace the component separately without having to acquire the entire kit at greater expense. I recommend this product and your company.

I dropped my phone off a two story roof once, it hit corner to corner all the way to the edge of the roof before falling to the ground, came out without a scratch. This is the case to get if you’re in construction or like to play hard!

The rep who helped me sent me a replacement right away. It was a heavier duty type than I had. When it arrived there were no instructions included in the package so I called again a this rep got me to a You Tube site that walked me through the assembly process. Great people!!

The idea of these holsters is also good but the design and materials are not. The holsters are weak and break easily. Never had to replace a case but have had to hunt down to replace seven holsters over six years. In every case the plastic belt clasp broke when caught in a car seat belt. At least now you can order the holster separately.

This product is designed for people in jobs where abuse is a possibility such as firefighters, police officers. Make the product fit the gear they wear.

The cases are great, but the latest holsters for the iPhone 10R are breaking very easily. I went onto Amazon to try to buy a new Otterbox holster. I could not find one on Amazon so I mistakenly bought a less expensive version of the holster. I bought a double pack of the cheap holster and within about 3 weeks I broke both of them. I bought another double pack and broke another within two weeks. Cheap!! I finally went on the officer Otterbox site and found that I could by an Otterbox official holster. I bought two holsters just in case. Superior to the cheap immitations!

Originally for an I Phone 6 and when I turned it in to Apple, they said this is the best looking 8 year old phone I've ever seen. When I bought my new I Phone, I knew I needed the protection of Otter Box. Numerous times dropping replacing the old style phone holsters monthly was a pain. Otter Box and the belt holster for those who use a phone as a work tool would be fool hardy not to own this product. I can't tell you how many times I've picked my phone up off the ground and wondering if the screen was still there and it was.

I noticed last month that the pivot point had become loose and the phone would would spin on that pivot point. I realized that it needed to be tightened or replaced. While carrying a heavy load of equipment in from my car, I squatted to set it on the floor and the pivot point popped loose. I replaced the belt-clip/holster and everything is back to normal! Replacement is exactly like the original part.

This holster is fantastic, it clips to my belt, I can access my phone easy, and I always know where my phone is. Also, if I have it set to vibrate, I can feel it vibrate when its in the holster. So I ordered the case for the holster and received ANOTHER holster with the matching case. I have a IPhone XR, the whole setup was like strapping an encyclopedia to my hip. It kept getting in the way. Now I have all this gear and I'm not sure if I can return it or how. I'm back to my original Otterbox clear case and jamming it into my pocket. SO disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did not fit my phone Purchased belt clip for my Iphone XR. Went it arrived, it was too large for my phone. I then decided to shop one of the box stores to replace the whole case. Found your Otterbox Defender. When checking out the cashier informed me that she had the same phone as I have and had tried your product. She also found the case and clip did not fit her phone.

The new one is a perfect fit, exactly like the original, not a cheap knockoff. Price was competitive to start with but even better after being given a coupon code by online representative and free shipping to boot. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defected After breaking two holsters prior to purchasing this third, I decided to order from the website and make full use of my Defender case. Once I received the holster, I noticed a few things right away and was disappointed with my purchase. While the belt clip works and holds my IPhone securely, the kickstand feature doesn’t seem to work, and the belt clip itself literally is a swivel instead of being able to stay locked in place. The metal clip that acts as the spring for the kickstand seems too stiff for the kickstand to actually stay locked into place. The belt clip also doesn’t have notches to lock into place, making the holster spin in every direction when attached to my belt. I have had an instance where the metal spring has popped out while the holster was on my belt. The only way I noticed was due to the fact I heard it hit the floor and checked my holster before searching for the clip on the floor. I’m not sure if the design of the holster has been modified to be this way, but I originally purchased the Defender series simply for the belt clip locking into place and stayed in one position and the kickstand actually functioned properly. The only reason I still use the holster today is I have grown accustomed to not having my phone in my pocket while I’m out or working. Even after rating this holster two stars, I would still recommend this product, hoping i was sent a defected holster and the original design was never modified into this current state.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Improved Product I have purchased these in the past and they did not last long. The last purchase lasted over 18 months and it took a lot of force to break it. I have communicated with the company in the past an they made changes to this product that definitely has improved it. The steel pivit pin and beefed up its contact surfaces was a great improvement THANKS I'll always buy Otter Box Products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of junk broke in less than 2 hours. I took it out of the package and assembled it cording to the directions. I clipped my phone in and in less than two hours my phone hit the counter and broke the new piece off. I do NOT recommend this product.
