I had one for an old surface pro and it protected the keyboard. This one did not

Disappointing
The otter box cover does not have any grooves for snapping in the Surface keyboard or even the pen. The designers have missed on the very reason why someone buys a Microsoft surface

Not was i expected
We can not use the key board with the case
The surface stand was not usable to.
I always use Ottebox for my devices . But this one was not appropriate, not servicable.
I wish you will correct the situation.

Ended up returning: Not particularly useful
The Surface is meant to be used both as a tablet and a laptop. But this case is only useful for the former. There's no way for the keyboard attachment to connect with the case in place. So, I ended up returning the case as it failed to serve its basic purpose.
