Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good in partI was amazed at the sound of the unit when I used it with my Polycom VVX600. The sound was so clear it actually took some time to get use to. This unfortunately was not the case with for the bluetooth (via Android) or the USB to PC connection. The sound for the latter connections was poor, tinny and lacking in volume. I worked with support for over an hour and was advised to return the unit but upon inspecting the reviews, I see that there is a problem with the unit in this respect. I love the options to be able to switch between the various devices but I do not think I would use the device via bluetooth or via the PC. I will likely return this and look for a comparable model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PerfectionThis headset is a masterpiece. The experience of making a simple call is greatly improved by this unit. I make a moderate number of lengthy calls, the ability to stay comfortable on these calls is quite valuable. The location of the boom mic, the comfortable earphones, and the volume all contribute to this unit. I am incredible satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Main features - great but NOT multimedia streamingI am using plantronics wireless headsets for many years (starting from C55 and then savi 7xx series) and they were always good though the latest 8220 which I bough because of stereo headphones with good quality multimedia streaming clearly has either hardware or firmware issues. When I connect my phone (Iphone SE with latest 12.4 ios) and stream music via bluetooth via multimedia mode (best quality) I have constant distortions and quality issues: phone sits within 70 cm from the base and I am sitting at the same desk where both phone and base are. When I try to walk around within 20 meters quality drops and connection becames unstable from the first meters... I tried it both at home and in the office - same result.Firmware is 38.15 (latest that plantronics hub offered)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but could be improved..Received and set up was easy. Quick start guide provided details on set up and pairing, which was very easy (easier than some speakers). I should note I did not set up the headset to work through my computer. I am also not typically a headset-anything user (gaming, phone, etc.) so I have a bit more unfamiliarity with headset usage than some. It’s been years since I’ve used a Bluetooth. Headset extremely comfortable. Lots of points of adjustment, such as each ear can swiveling, and padded. Lightweight so could wear for up to hours at a time, though they are leather so can get a bit warm resting against the ear. Boom mike allows for either side of head. There is an on-off switch in the headset. Buttons on the base show which device the headset connected with (options are computer, cellphone, and, if hooked in with optional adapters, a landline. I did not test that option as I don’t have a landline or VOIP). The volume worked well, as there is a volume slider on the headset or use the phone. Test calls indicated that people picked up no background noise (this included doing dishes, running water and the like). That was great. However, range of the headset was touted to be impressive and maybe I expected more but I got 100 ft and call would go garbled in the test call side and then suddenly hang up. This was consistent. If I stayed within that range I was fine. There was no warning on my end, no beeping or anything to warn me call fidelity was lost and it would hang up. I would have liked a beep or some warning. Calling and pickup was a little frustrating, as the set up was intuitive but not this aspect. With iPhone marked as connected and headset on, I expected a call I was making to ring through the headset and go through immediately via the headset. This never happened. Despite being securely connected before dialing, calls would never ring through on headset and the moment someone would pick up, it would flip back to iPhone. The no ringing feedback meant I did not know if they picked up and with it reverting to iPhone upon connection, there was some scrambling so I could hear them. If someone called me, it would ring through the headset (awesome) but immediately revert to the iPhone upon picking up the headset and dropping the mic. Found this a bit disappointing. On a personal level, because I’m out of habit of wearing a headset for anything, I found myself disliking how I sounded through the headset. My voice would be very muffled and distorted, making me try and focus too much on what I thought I said rather than a conversation. Did not affect the caller. This was probably just a personal thing but it was distracting enough I stopped using the headset for a while. Overall review: I think this would be a great headset for anyone who anticipates being a heavy user of a headset. It’s comfortable and has good reviews for test listeners. Someone else may be more dedicated to investigating the connection switching for calling/pickup. For a casual user like myself, who either uses the phone on speaker or does own a bluetooth (somewhere), the issue of connection switcharoos was frustrating. It kept me from using for casual calls and the range dropping calls in my house also kept me from using the headset for long dedicated calls, because apparently I like to move around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullThe product works nicely. I like the swivel microphone, as I wear it on right and my wife prefers the left. Good coverage overs the ears, quality sound. Does a great job of blocking out 95% of outside noise. I do not know that this head set could attach to my office phone or plug into my comuter but after getting it all connected eveything worked great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great audio once connected.I received the Savi 8220 to evaluate a little over two weeks ago. Using Bluetooth I was able to connect the headset to MacBook Pro, iPhone 6S. I connected the base hardwired to a Panasonic 6.0 Plus landline. The headset has great sound and noise canceling qualities and the boom mic provided was clear to the callers on the receiving side. The one issue I found was switching sources. If I went from the iPhone to the landline, the Bluetooth wasn't always recognized unless I re-paired the headset. The headset doesn't seem to be Siri compatible. The bottom line, if you are looking for headset to use in busy office (noisy) where you spend your day using a land line, either making or taking calls, the Savi 8220 would be the headset to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits really wellWhen it worked, it was great.I had a hard time keeping it connected to my phone. After each call i had to reconnect the device. At max volume it wasn't loud enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Savi 8200 ReviewGood:The Savi 8220 headphones are great for Skype meetings. Sound is clear and crisp. I wouldn't say these are hi-fidelity headphones but for the purpose of phone conversations, they are excellent. I did not have to mess around with the base unit. ANC: Noise cancelling was ok. I can still hear people around me talking but at lower levels with the ANC on.Wireless Range: WOW!!! The range is absolutely fantastic. I could pretty much walk anywhere in the house and still have an excellent connection without any drops.Battery life was also good as it pretty much lasts all day for me.Not so Good:Power button could be bigger in size and also the location of the sliding button is not convenient. When a phone call is being made from the cell phone, the audio/source button has to be pressed to connect. It's also kind of inconvenient to press it every time I need to play a video on the phone. As soon as a video finishes playing, it disconnects. I have to tap the audio on the base to connect again to listen to the audio for the next clip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great sound. not a fan of the base...I received this from the FANWARE program.. perfect timing since my previous headset broke. These can do hard line phone, BT, and PC USB. Its really nice since the PC USB connection is still wireless with DECT. Great sound, comfortable to wear, fairly easy controls. The volume ring is a bit small, so its harder to grab, but not bad.. The BT connection has been on and off.. still working that one out. Overall its a great headset, my only real complaint is that I find it hard to get the headset back on the stand...it takes some work to line it up just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic fit. Slightly difficult software. These are the most comfortable, well balanced, feature packed headphones I've ever owned. The fit is fantastic. The headband is adjustable but not too tight at its most closed position. The padding around the ear is extremely comfortable and fine for long hours of wear at a time. It's got your standard features built into the headset itself like volume control and mute but it also has the noise canceling capability there as well. You can connect it to a standard phone, a blue tooth phone and a pc and the base allows you to quickly and easily switch between devices. Cons: Putting the headset in the charger is slightly awkward but it's still relatively easy to see if it's seated and charging. The software can be touchy when you're first installing it. Uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to work as a solution. The Plantronics Hub may or may not be accurate - it's difficult to tell. Biggest issue - If your pc is set to boot to usb, and many are because of the trend towards jump drive recovery for windows being employed, you may want to unplug the usb cable from your pc before rebooting. I spent over an hour trying to diagnose why my PC would not boot before I undid the most recent change by unplugging the Savi 8200... I was able to restart my pc without issue after that.Bottom line is that this is a fantastic headset. You just have to know how to use it and what the quirks are. Even with the challenges I'd have zero doubt about making the purchase.
