Rated 5 out of 5 byHihi from Performs as Expected.I can't talk about the backup software, the drives were purchased to be wiped and reformatted (blowing away the backup assist software). We purchased 2 and are using them at 2 locations as a network share meant to archive some old data as a redundancy fail safe. The read/write is plenty, and no noticeable noise or heat to be concerned with after continuously writing ~400 GB straight.4 Stars since I have not utilized the other features and can't attest to reliability after 2 weeks.

The installation (done by myself) was simple and the back ups run as scheduled. This product provided great peace of mind!
