It does work in mac
Multiple people have suggested it doesn't work on mac, and even support doesn't know how to fix the issue but if you remove all older existing versions of the driver (and the kexts) prior to upgrading and installing then it will work. Older versions of the driver prevent new versions to work. Been using it for months and it does work on Big Sur. - Support team should be better instructed to resolve this issue.

Up to 700Mb/s Up/Down on Linux
work smoothly on my Linux (ubuntu 16.04) machine - copy speeds to remote drives up to 700Mb/s. somewhat struggled to find the driver

No Mac support
I´ve used this adapter om my Mac Mini 2018. Works fine, but I need to upgrade to the latest macOS. The drivers doesn´t support the latest version, and therefore it´s keeping me from being able to upgrade. Startech needs to fix this rigth away.
