USB-C Adapter for the Road Warrior
I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years.
I found this unit easy to setup and use on my Microsoft and Apple devices. This adapter provides a quality 4K video output with a built in ultra high-speed SD 4.0 card reader with UHS-II support. This unit has the perfect amount of ports for the road warrior, which includes a USB 3.0 Type-A port and one Gigabit Ethernet port, through your laptop’s USB-C port. In addition, the adapter supports USB Power Delivery 2.0.

Great for on the road!
The USB-C multiport adapter is a great tool for those of us on the road! It reads SD cards, power delivery, 4K HDMI, 1GB network port along with a USB 3.0 port. The display and network port are what most people need - the extra ports are a bonus! I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Great mini-dock
Works great. Plug and play, no drivers. Worked on my Mac and my Windows 10 laptop. I used this to transfer several terabytes of data from a NAS to an external USB3 hard drive using the ethernet and usb ports of this dongle and didn’t have any interruptions or problems. The ethernet works great and I tried the HDMI too which worked great with a projector. I didn’t get to try the SD card reader. The design is sleek and clean and blends well with the minimalist design of a Macbook. The only thing that would make this better is if it was 100% white instead of having the silver side trim but I’m just being picky now.

Simple!
This is another example of a great adapter for people with laptops with USB-C ports. It can be used as a very compact docking station, or a very good device to travel with to eliminate a bunch of other adapters. It works without drivers, which is a bonus, and if your laptop also charges with USB-C type power adapter, you can plug it in the end of the adapter and only have one connector to plug in. I like how the HDMI and Ethernet ports are on one side together, and the SD card reader and USB port on the other; the ones you would need to access more often. It’s a perfect size to fit in a laptop bag, and the little rubber feet keep it in-place on a desk.
