While this will work with some printers it does not give you a LPT port and did not work with our receipt printers. It is upsetting that the product page states "Add a DB25 parallel port to any PC" when this is not the case quite true.

They have a 64 bit software print driver on a CD that when used with a generic HP LJ Driver for Windows 7 64 Bit, will make legacy HP LJ 4, 5, 4000, and 5 work. The only thing the HP Drivers won't do is print in color or large format. But for every day letters, spreadsheets, and power point files, it works great.
