Know your gear

The LC1200 1200W 120V line conditioner - automatic voltage regulator adjusts under- and overvoltages to provide safe, computer-grade AC power that meets ANSI C84.1 specifications. The automatic voltage regulation (AVR) offers three levels of voltage stabilization that corrects undervoltages as low as 89V and overvoltages as high as 147V back to regulated 120V nominal power. Providing optimum voltage conditions not only extends the life of your equipment, but also keeps your equipment working through brownouts and prolonged overvoltage conditions.

A network-grade 1200-joule surge suppression rating exceeds the IEEE-587 standard for surge suppression (both categories A and B) and prevents even the strongest spikes from inflicting damage, data loss or corruption and audio/video performance problems on your connected equipment. EMI/RFI noise filtering protects your AC line from disruptive electromagnetic and radio interference.

Just connect the space-saving NEMA 5-15P right-angle plug with 7-foot cord to an AC power source, and plug up to four devices into the NEMA 5-15R outlets. You can monitor AC power, incoming voltage level and AC line status using the seven diagnostic LEDs on the front panel. The compact LC1200 fits comfortably into your computer or home theater setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product for electronicsThe company I work for uses the LC1200 to power medical lasers. We have never had a laser go down due to power surges or to much draw if they were plugged into one of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ProductLiving in rural Florida, and having lightning storms is the norm, my apartment complex was built in the 80's so we are having power fluctuations constantly, this would effect my over the air channels reception, the edition of this equipment has helped with this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good for what it isI've had my conditioner for a while so I know what to talk about now. The voltage regulation clicks on and off when things turn on in the kitchen or someone's vacuuming. I used to get a weird bleeping noise through my audiophile setup and now it's dead quiet. The unit itself started out with a bit of a buzz, but it calmed down after being on for a few days. I can still hear it, but it's not that loud anymore and nonintrusive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can trust this productI have a small 900 watt generator that wasn't meant to power sensitive electronics. I have used the LC1200/900watt gen several times during power outages. The LC1200 did not allow damage to any of my electronics on each occasion when my back up power was used. I trust this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Audiophile!Other reviewers report transformer hum and/or voltage irregularities. I replaced a very good non-Tripp unit that died of old age with a Tripp-Lite 1200 and find the latter at least equivalent, possibly better at cleaning line noise. Great buy IMHO.
