Tripp Lite's P581-006DisplayPort to DVI-D Cable Adapter (M/M) allows you to connect a computer with a DisplayPort connection to an HDTV or Computer Monitor with a DVI connection. Digital Video signals are passed through with full 1080p video resolution supported. Fully molded ends ensure long life enjoyment.
The P581-006 is a Passive adapter and requires the host computers displayport to be DP++ (Displayport ++), which allows HDMI and DVI signals to be passed through; check your computers documentation for compatibility.
Not for use with MST Hubs. For compatibility with MST Hubs, use a Displayport 1.2 compliant product such as P581-006-V2

Struck a cord in me!
This cable is quite good with DVI and Display Port.
Its length is enough for your system to connect to your docker and laptop.
I found no delays and no connectivity issues with the cable.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to buy it.
