Perfect for your home or office workstation, the TLP808 Protect It! 8-Outlet Home-Computer Surge Protector features a surge suppression rating of 1440 joules to defend your sensitive electronic components against strong surges and spikes. In fact, Tripp Lite will repair or replace any connected equipment damaged by surges, including direct lightning strikes, up to $75,000 for life (valid in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico only).
The TLP808 includes full normal mode (H-N) and common mode (N-G/H-G) line surge suppression, as well as technology that filters out disruptive EMI/RFI line noise, preventing interference from disrupting your electronics and inflicting damage or data loss.
Your computer and peripherals plug into eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, including three widely spaced outlets designed to accept bulky transformers without blocking adjacent outlets. Built-in child-safety covers block accidental contact with unused outlets. Integrated 15-amp circuit breaker protects all outlets against dangerous overloads. Lighted on/off switch provides one-touch control over connected equipment. LEDs indicate protection status and that your wall outlet is properly grounded.
The 2.43 m (8-ft.) AC power cord allows the TLP808 to reach distant outlets, while its right-angle NEMA 5-15P plug allows furniture and equipment to be moved flush against the wall to save space in your workstation. Keyhole slots on the bottom panel provide convenient wall or desk mounting options.

Some people in the building lost their printers, an old computer, my husband's calculator, etc. I had my stuff (iMac, printer, etc) plugged into the TrippLite 808 and they never even shut down. Now I see why you NEED a good surge protector!!

Picked it up it was wet and I got an electric shock. Turns out the cat urinated on it. So I unplugged it and started to think what can I do. I unscrewed the surge protector and opened it. Sprayed the inside of it with electronic cleaner. Put it back together and it works again. Thanks Tripplite.

My house is very prone to surges and I have fried two 'high quality' belkin surge protectors, so I knew it was time for a change. The Tripplite product has protected my expensive electrical components (TV, AV receiver, Tivo). We've had two surges since I started using the TLP808 and all my components are safe AND the surge processor still works great! Very happy with this product. I will purchasing another to put in my office to power my computer, external hard drives, etc. Great price. Highly recommended.

Ive read a lot of reviews for inexpensive surge protectors from Belkin, APC etc. This unit had the least about of negative reviews. I purchased this unit because of the small foot print. Other brands are 5 inches longer and 2 inches wider. This unit is big enough. Time will tell! It would be nice if this unit was made in the U.S.A!!
