All drives are not created equal and these perform faster than most we recieve from the computer vendors. Good solid drive for a good price. Also the Western Digital free diagnostics download is a great tool to have to make sure the drive is really doing its job. Good solid drive and software from Western Digital. CDW's price is hard to beat for this hard drive spec. I highly recommend.
