With CA ARCserve Replication, it is possible to replicate multiple servers from multiple locations back to a single Replica server at a disaster recovery (DR) site or headquarters (HQ) with built-in, 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for security. This enables IT staff to regain control of data protection and reduces the risk of the task being done incorrectly or not at all. The IT department can also save money on backup tape transportation. Backups can be done from the Replica server, eliminating backup window constraints. Data can then be recovered to either the Primary or Replica server.
