I do get a lot of screen tearing and it is with 5 different video cards (2 systems, 3 cards, and 2 integrated), I still get quite a bit depending on what I am doing (movies, games, web surfing). I am guessing that it is some kind of v-synch with 1080 issue but weird since it is across all of my video devices which span across amd and nvidia. Never-the-less the greatest size monitor you can buy for the $$$, once you break the 27" barrier, things get expensive.

This one is sweet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance and Qaulity This monitor really makes the text and picture stand out. I have kerataconus which is a cornea disease of they eye. Light sprites are a common issue for me. With this monitor I am able to see everything clean and crisp. I love it.

Wow.....The Charts have a 3D look to them on the ASUS screen...... and as I am a non-tech guy, the set-up was as easy as plugging in 3 cables and turning er on. I plan on ordering 3 more.

We originally purchased this larger monitor for an employee who has vision difficulties and needs to have extra large fonts, icons, etc enabled. Not only is the employee thrilled with the monitor size, but the vibrant colors and sharp clarity blew us all away. Now every employee that works in the office is hoping their current monitor breaks down next, so that they might have a chance at getting this great monitor!
