It provides continuous and periodic LAN and WAN data replication for Windows, Linux and UNIX servers, databases and applications on physical and virtual servers. It also includes Data Rewind for fast recovery after loss or damage along with Assured Recovery for automated, non-disruptive recovery testing. CA ARCserve High Availability includes all ARCserve Replication features and adds server and application monitoring with automated and push-button failover and failback for system, application and data continuous availability. CA ARCserve Assured Recovery is used for automated, nondisruptive recovery testing of Windows environments that allows you to schedule "lights-out" periodic testing of your failover environment - without disrupting the production environment or ongoing replication and CDP protection. Your testing history can be captured in a report for compliance auditing. CA ARCserve Assured Recovery also includes VSS Snapshot management on the replica server so you may take a Snapshot immediately after testing and then run backup off the replica server for application-consistent, nondisruptive backup, helping you overcome backup window constraints.
